It is in a nice quiet location. Very clean room and nice decor. Breakfast served in our room was a nice touch. Perfect location in walking distance of Bowness-On-Windermere and Windermere centre.

The property, the room and dining room were all absolutely charming with little quirky design choices giving it a very modern feel. We stayed in room 3 (classed as small double) not a massive room but not many are in windermere and the bed was soooo comfy had an amazing nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious and had a number of cooked to order choices including pancakes with fruit or smoked salmon and scrambled egg. We opted for the traditional cumbrian breakfast and was not disappointed. Property is located on a quiet residential street so was extremely tranquil. Hosts were lovely and for the amazing price we paid one of the best on offer in Windermere in our opinion. We will definitely be back.

A bit cramped moving around the bedroom.

This is a lovely B&B with parking (very useful) in a highly popular area. The breakfasts were amazing. Our room was quite comfortable, but a bit cramped. Quite close to a really good pub where we ended up having dinner both nights we were there.

N/A everything was great.

Everything was perfect. A glass of wine on arrival, we were left to get on with settling in and the best breakfast you could hope for. Overall the room was spotless, the shower was great and the fridge for our use was a nice touch. The location is perfect t, halfway between Windermere town and Bowness by the lake. Both easily walkable in 15 minutes. An ideal spot. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Everything as great

Property was in a great location , in between Windermere and Bowness . Room very clean and we had the jungle room where breakfast was served to us in the room in the morning . Off road parking is available as well

Love the staff, the room (Jungle), the breakfast! It was a wonderfully warm and comfortable room and bed, with a welcoming bath. Breakfast was in the room - great selection of hot food, toast, juices, tea and French press coffee.

The WIFI can be a bit choppy. However, they have two networks available to use.

We had an amazing stay at Rum Doodle! We were met with a warm welcome from the owner and were offered a welcome drink. We chose red wine 🍷 The breakfast room was lovely, they had cereal, fruit bowls, toast and yoghurt available for all guests and a choice of a cooked breakfast for an additional charge. They have a communal fridge available in the breakfast room for you to place drinks to keep cool if you wish. The room was clean, well decorated and so comfortable! Overall, I would highly recommend it and we will definitely be visiting again. Thank you!

Lovely B&B with friendly and welcoming staff. Great location within walking distance to Windermere (7-10 mins) and Bowness (12-15 mins). Breakfast was great with a good amount of choice.

Check in was easy, the guesthouse is easy to find & free parking available. The breakfast is gorgeous! The staff are very friendly and helpful.
