The location was up a steep hill quite difficult to maneuver a car when leaving the property.

Beautiful location with a fabulous sea view. Quiet and peaceful. The room was spotlessly clean and super cosy. The hosts were lovely, welcoming, friendly with a delicious breakfast, cooked to order. Would highly recommend this stunning property.

There was nothing not too like.we loved our stay

The property was in a fab location only a 5 minute walk from the centre.it had its own entrance and fab sea views,it was spotlessly clean with a brand new bathroom and the most comfy bed.Linda was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble and I highly recommend Linda’s breakfast.

There are 15 concrete steps up to the room, this was difficult to negotiate for my wife who has had a knee and hip replacement. A blind in the shower room would be a good addition in my opinion

The view was absolutely stunning unfortunately we had a sea mist most of the time we were there so not able to fully appreciate it.The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable.

Brig-y-Don is a lovely place to stay. A warm comfortable room with modern facilities. The view over the estuary is stunning. The host Linda was most welcoming and professional. They accommodated our dog and made him most welcome. We had a wonderful cooked breakfast and would highly recommend this establishment. Only a five minute walk to the main street.

Part of the price of a view is being up a hill, so if you aren't able or willing to walk up a little hill, this may be a challenge for you. I think the walk was well worth it, but something to consider if you aren't driving.

Wonderful room with a spectacular view. We appreciated the attention to detail of the hosts having an outside light for the stairs to the room, the binoculars to look out on the estuary, the robes, the umbrella, and luscious towels to name a few. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed and more, tastefully done. Highly recommended.

The room was cold; central heating took a long time to come on in the evening and was off during the day; little mobile radiator was too small to make much difference. The electric blanket made a big difference!

Didn't like having to pay 15 pounds each extra for breakfast. We assumed when booking into a bed and breakfast that breakfast was included in the price until we got the email stating we could have breakfast as an extra!

Super welcome from the owners on arrival. Talked us through the property well and spent time with us running through things and making sure everything was good. Interested in what we were there for and what we were doing without being nosey! Loved not having a key! Lovely Welsh bread on arrival!

My stay at the Brig y don, was exceptional, the hosts Linda and Nigel where very welcoming. From the moment I arrived I knew I had picked an excellent place to stay. The room was clean bright and well decorated, with an outstanding view of the bay, there is a television. There where tea coffee making facilities, bara brith, filtered water and biscuits, the bed was very comfortable and I had a great night's sleep.The bathroom was clean, light and well maintained, with a good shower. Linda made an outstanding breakfast, it was honestly exceptional and would highly recommend. I could not fault my stay here and nor would I want to, it was incredible and just what I needed, there was no pressure, everything was oriented toward the guest, Linda and Nigel made my time there, relaxed and secure, they were very helpful and accommodating. The shower would sometimes stop and start on it’s own when you want it on. Not good water pressure. The water never went cold though which is good unless you put it on cold. Also the walls are thin so can hear people in the main house sometimes and you are above the garage.

The breakfast, the view and the comfy bed were the best parts of the stay. Cleanliness is very good and the room is modern. The owners are very friendly and do there best to help with any problems or giving advice what to do in the local area.
