Heating wasn't working in the room - blooming cold. Ok, there were two electric radiators which eventually warmed it up, but ... Shower was super-hot or cold, with nothing in between.

Breakfast was ok if you like fry-ups with fairly cheap ingredients. Not so great if you don't. Bed was comfortable. Receptionist was friendly.

The room was very hot, although I did turn off the radiator and open then windows, the bathroom towel rail could not be turned off so made the room very warm. The toilet was very squashed between the wall and sink, and being a larger lady was a bit tricky! Main problem was as the room was literally in the car park was very noisy and the lighting needs improving - no light near the dressing table (nor a chair).

Room was pleasant, roomy and spotlessly clean, bed was comfy, nice to have 2 tub chairs and a little table, good amount of storage room for your belongings, bathroom was clean and towels nice and fluffly, water was hot.

No extraction fan in bathroom. Opened the window after shower but couldn't close it, which opened onto fire exit. Major security issue. Bed was not very comfortable. Could hear voices from adjacent room.

The breakfast could have been better. Would have liked some fresh fruit and hotter water to make your own tea and coffee.

Fantastic location near plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Friendly welcoming staff. Comfortable room which was very clean

Stairs everywhere. Bed could only by accessed from one side. (It was listed as a small room)

For the price is was acceptable The stairs and hallways need a good clean loads of dust which clearly been there a long time

Ideal location Plenty of eating places and shops along the high street Canal to walk along Free car parking Breakfast was plentiful , our shower was broken and the sink didn’t drain but this was fixed

The bar was a bit expensive, which made you consider going elsewhere for a drink.

The shower in our bathroom had no thermostat so the water would be scorching hot or freezing cold, bath was fine to use.

The breakfast was great value for money, the staff were attentive and were able to oblige with any queries or concerns

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. I'd like to give a particular mention to Millie on reception who undoubtedly went the extra mile, switching us to a room inside the hotel rather than in the annexe and providing us with ice buckets, cutlery etc when we arrived late and weary and needing sustenance. I would further add that it was an extremely well-appointed and pleasant room

Bedroom a little chilly and another blanket would have been good. No fruit at breakfast.

Quite cold yet heating on very low; A little dated in places; Rates seem to vary a lot so shop around

Great location for our day at the races, the staff were friendly and accommodating. We had an evening meal in the bar which was excellent. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable

The shower was not brilliant as the shower head needed attention due to the connection was wearing out, It has been reported also there was no instructions for the coffee machine which would have been useful and some of the coffee pods had been used but was not a major issue for us as we were only there for 2 nights .
