Breakfast had limited options. It was just a typical English breakfast with some cereals as an option. It was okay but don't expect much. Beds were creaky but not that bad.

FOOD Although there wasn't an explicit mention about limited or unlimited food, only the toasts were unlimited. They wouldn't serve more than 2 hash browns per person and that further reduces to one if you also would like to have a sausage. ROOM SIZE Its more suitable for a couple and not a family. Bathroom door couldn't fully open because of the kids' bunk bed. Hardly any walking space inside the room. CARPETS Carpets were cleaner but smelled funny as soon as you enter the room. They should perhaps shampoo them or atleast use a room freshener.

Stayed in a small single bedroom, it was quite stuffy and hot at times, was able to open bedroom window, which helped slightly, the window in the bathroom did not open at all, I think if it did this would have been an advantage. The pillows and mattress could of been a bit better.

The hotel was a short walk away from beach, shops and the bus stops were near also. The hosts were lovely, friendly people. The breakfast was good. I was asked every day if I needed anything for the room, clean towels etc. The hotel is a bit out dated, but it suited my needs as I was only on a short visit.

The size of the room was a little tight for us and I found the duvet heavy for the summer heat. A little dated but not offensive, just personal preference.

Bryan and Sue were lovely hosts who took their time to greet and get to know their guests. The hotel is really well located close to the sandy beach and main shops. We were able to walk there and back with 2 young children comfortably. The price of the hotel is good and breakfast is well stocked and organised.

Breakfast was really good. If you didn’t want full English BRIAN would always do something else which he did for me a couple of times. Juice, tea, coffee, toast, jam everything we needed.

That Chester had not been paid by Booking.com when I had paid booking.com on 30th July. Again another mess up by this company which is why I hardly use them. Poor service as it’s a nice hotel but one member of staff was saying I had to pay the full amount. That wasn’t the hotels fault.

It was a wee bit dated to be fair. And probably not what we would of liked for location.

The proprietor was very friendly and welcoming. The room was nice and clean. We asked for a ground floor room, and got it, Ideal with my knees and the wife's breathing problems. Breakfast was fine.

Room smelled of damp and very small, toilet had a flushing fault, Shower leaking from door and flooded the floor, bed was uncomfortable with a well used mattress that needs replacing

Bunk bed mattresses were pretty awful - you could feel every spring. The breakfast arrangements were not that convenient as there was only a half hour window that it was being served (between 8.30 and 9.00am). This meant that for people catching an early ferry at the end of their stay that they would probably have to miss breakfast.

Good location, near to the main attractions and pier. Also had convenient parking right outside the property. The owners also accommodated our late arrival.
