Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe only downside was lack of a proper coffee machine at breakfast. Although there is one in the room, it would be nice to have one at breakfast too. Filtered coffee was not very pleasant, but that’s the only downside, really. I would still 100% stay at The Manor again!
Clean, comfortable, spacious and really, really quiet during the night and in early morning (stayed during the week; cannot comment on weekends). Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice to find a Nespresso coffee machine in the room, and complimentary biscuits made by their Pastry Chef Vikki were absolutely delicious! Breakfast was good and plenty of choices (again, sweet pastries were amazing!). Will only be staying at The Manor from now on, when attending appointments at ROH in Stanmore.

United KingdomDecor a bit dated and our room could have done with a lick of paint in places. Some chips on walls and furniture. But we only wanted a convenient bed for the night convenient for M1 and journey home the next morning.
Convenient and affordable location for a stay after a show at Wembley. Staff were super friendly and helpful (and reception open 24 hours so no worries about getting there late). We parked near Harrow and travelled in and out via Tube.

United KingdomIt’s not 4 star it’s more like a 3 star in terms of facilities and service. It’s a little run down- cracked floor tile in bathroom, slow draining sink and a filthy headboard. We were in a superior double. We headed down for breakfast on a week day at 9.10am so hardly last minute and there was no coffee left, no mushrooms or hash browns. There wasn’t a member of staff to tell so this was disappointing and not in line with 4 star. The food we had was delicious, perhaps they need more staff on at breakfast.
The history and original features of this hotel make it well worth a visit! The food was good and there are chef made biscuits in your room.

United KingdomBreakfast is a disaster. One young lady trying to help everyone, apologising every time something was needed - more milk, more bread, more fruit juice. The a la carte service was, understandably, slow and when the food did arrive, was pretty average.
This is a lovely quiet hotel with decent rooms, comfortable beds and excellent showers. The location, for us, is just right and Uber drivers know where it is (bonus).

United KingdomSadly the breakfast was luck warm. It was a buffet breakfast and had everything you needed for a good breakfast. The hot items were kept in stainless steel silver chafers but no burners underneath so the food was allowed to cool . I felt sorry for the chef, all that preparation. We arrived down for breakfast on the Sunday at 9am; so not late.
Loved the building and surrounding gardens.

United KingdomThere was a smell of weed on the ground floor where we were staying. And the bed seem like it was old and possibly broken as I could feel the springs. Also work needs to be done as the walls in our room hadn’t been painted for a while so it brings the experience down a bit
