Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Customer service could have been better. 11pm key to room would not work so went to reception where 2 people were on duty. The female was working on her computer and the man was booking a customer in. I was waiting to have my card sorted but I was totally ignored. After 5 mins I made a comment about this and was finally my key got sorted.

Gurgling aircon! Never did get the coffee machine to work.
At lsst - shower controls away from the shower head which you could adjust without having to step into the spray! Great beds.

Nothing i didn't like.
Location was great for getting to where i needed to be. Good quality breakfast. Great to have air-conditioning. Good night's sleep. Nice shower. Would definitely stay again.

Some of the plants out front could use a bit of water ;)
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel and location were lovely, clean, spacious and comfortable. Compared to the supposed 'luxery hotel' I stayed in London previously, this place was much better. The breakfast was also excellent. I wasn't there long enough to try out the evening meals, but I loved that they had the option. I'll be back.

Check the bathroom shower fittings room 141 it wasn’t fitted to the wall at the bottom.

Pillows were a little bit flat, and there were none other additional spare ones in the wardrobe. No fresh drinking water supplied in the room. It was provided at the entrance but when we went to get some (after arriving back at night) it was practically empty. It would of been nice to have a fridge but was still great value for the price.
Shower was great 👍🏻 towels got changed the second day. Bathroom facilities really good. Bed comfortable Air con was on and the room temperature was good. Free parking provided after giving car registration at reception.

Good location being out of the town centre, making it handy for us quickly accessing the motorway / road out. The air con was a lifesaver as we stayed during the hottest weekend of the year so far (19th-21st June).

Tricky getting into town on foot. Shower needed more pressure. Queen bed was 2 beds zipped together and one was slightly higher causing a ridge. Room was quite dark- more lighting needed.
Clean room, friendly staff, good choices at breakfast. Free car parking on site which was a major reasonfor choosing this hotel. Nice reception/bar/ dining area where you can relax, work, chat etc. Quiet area.

The hotel is stuck in the middle of a industrial estate, its too far out to walk anywhere, and you had to upgrade to a premium room if you wanted a fridge which any hotel I've been in the world always has a fridge, its a basic thing not a upgrade, so holiday inn should put fridges in every room ,as it being summer especially, no bottled water in the room which is another basic requirement, because some people dont drink tap water,,
It was clean,food was very good ,,staff were helpful and courteous

Cracked floor, tiles in bathroom were a hazard, door for cupboard in bedroom was falling off its hinges and the window was very restricted to open.

Rooms didn't have adequate storage space for keeping our stuff. Other than that everything was ok
