Parking. Paid for parking on arrival but got a ticket(which they are refunding) would be nice if they put on the web page you need to park at back of hotel rather than the main square

The corridor outside room 112 had a very musty smell. The room had a lot of noise from the bar that was located next to the hotel and the bottle collection lorry for the bar was a very early alarm call at 6am, emptying the glass from the bins.

We stayed for 3 nights and never got out towels changed once which we thought was very poor. Also we had to ask for extra tea bags andmilk that wasn't provided every day. For a hotel to me is unacceptable.

The room was small and dark and looked tired. The car park (owned by the hotel) was £30, arriving from 2 PM on a Friday and leaving at 11 AM on a Sunday. The staff weren’t very friendly and complained that it was busy and that they were tired. Breakfast food ran out, we ended up going elsewhere.

The drainage our room is faulty. The shower tray is shallow and the drain is blocking back, so the water is leaking out and soaking the floor and making the carpet in the entrance wet. This has caused decoration to deteriorate around the door and frame, but worse the smell of damp and drains is bad. On checking out we mentioned this to reception staff, they apologised and asked if affected our stay. Because we were only there 1 night and the hotel was fully booked there was not much they could do about it. However what was surprising was the drainage problem was a known issue. The drainage will not resolve itself and will require investigation. Spoiled somewhat an otherwise pleasant hotel.

nice central location easy to park. reception really friendly and easy to check in and out. Breakfast was great loads of hot food and the staff were working hard.

Room was hot. A/C not working. Did have small fan which made it ok.

Old hotel. Room was dated but comfortable and clean. Tea/coffee tray. Bed comfy. Very quiet. Did not eat at hotel. Right in centre of town and close to shops and cafes. Parking available at a cost.

Being able to stay longer

Loved our stay! Stylish, clean, quiet and comfortable room with a lovely en-suite. Great location overlooking market square. Superb breakfast! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere.

Not the hotel's fault this, but the people in the room next to us put their TV on at 8am very loudly and unfortunately it wasn't a very thick wall between us so was heard clearly through it. Our alarm was set for 8.30am anyway so wasn't the biggest issue but had we been wanting a lie in that would have been a bigger issue.

Asked for an early check in as needed to be at a wedding reception and that was fine. Asked for taxi details and was given a choice of 4 (and luckily used the best, Kings Abbey). On arrival receptionist, Joe, was really welcoming and very helpful in sorting the rooms out as we had three rooms in total. Rooms were very comfortable, well laid out with good amount of space so we weren't tripping over things. Nice bathroom, lovely shower. Tea making facilities & TV all good. Beds were very comfy and nice that they had put a fan in the room as it was warm at night but that took the edge of that.

We came for a quiet break and accidentally found ourselves in the middle of the King's Lynn festival it turned out to be a fabulous, unforgettable experience. The hotel and staff were lovely 😀

The room we stayed in was very tired, in need of redecorating, lots of water stained woodwork and paint peeling off.

Such a beautiful old hotel, great layout and location. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
