Nothing. Maybe the rooms are quite small. My boyfriend and I struggled a bit.

Loved the building and the location :) helpful and friendly stuff.

Wasn’t as clean as we would’ve hoped. Found scum in the shower.

Really good location, staff were really helpful when we needed help with the heating/ac.

Because of a medical condition I take medication daily, the lack of any form of drinking vessel in the room made this difficult.

The hotel is next door to possibly the best pub in the Newcastle area I would be lying if I said this didn't influence my choice.

it is not a luxury place and the courtyard out the window was in a state but it does what matters well

it was cheap, clean, available at short notice, and quiet.

No natural light in the room. Coffee etc. available in the lobby but expensive. Early checkout time (10 am) with the threat of a £20 charge for being late. The walk into the city centre was a long, steep hill!

Very central location, a short walk from the rail station. Plenty of pubs, shops etc. nearby. Modern and functional inside, with a clean, fresh feel. Good ensuite facilities in the room, and a comfortable double bed. Lift to every floor.

The room would be on the small side if you've got company, especially the bathroom. The facilities to make a hot drink are in the main reception. However, the pros outweigh the cons significantly.

I was only after a bed for a few hours after being out in the city for most of the night, and the price suggests you shouldn't expect much more, but I was really surprised at how decent everything was. The receptionist Shabz was kind enough to let me check in an hour early, rather than having to kill time since my train arrived, and the room was clean; the bed comfortable and spacious. Great location in the heart of Newcastle and five minutes from the train station. Countless food places and pubs on the doorstep though surprisingly not that loud because of it.

The hotel was quite noisy throughout the night, the walls were very thin and you could hear the thumping of footsteps past your bedroom at all hours.

The location was brilliant, the hotel room was clean and they provided all the required amenities for a single-night stay in the centre of Newcastle.

Would have liked to have a kettle or something similar instead of having to go down to receptions and having to pay for hot drinks.

The location was amazing, close too all the shops that we wanted to go to. Also close to the coach and train station so was easy to bring our luggage to and from the hotel.
