The staff went above and beyond. They were really helpful from checking in to checking out, nothing was too much trouble. The beds were super comfy and our room was lovely & clean. The food was great and there was never a long wait, even when the restaurant was busy either. A great hostel/hotel for a few days hiking.

Just quite a bit dusty in places, particularly around the bottom bunk. I'd just advise ensuring they hoover round the bunk beds, ensuring no bugs and no stains on the wall. We didn't use the bottom bunk due to this. We had a 4 bed room for 3 of us.

Location was brilliant for Snowdon. Food was lovely, I recommend their pizza burger. Really good value for money. Coat hooks in the bedroom - brilliant! Most places don't actually have them, this is a game changer. We had a private bathroom, brand new fitted and really clean!

The staff (Darren) absolutely made me feel home. They all ready to answer all your questions, help you as much as they can or have a little chat with you end of the night! If you are eating pizza for your dinner you don’t need to go to the town because they do an amazing one! If I am going back to Snowdonia I defiantly would stay there! Thanks a lot for everything!

Gallt y Glyn Hostel offers a refreshing retreat amidst nature's splendor. The rooms and toilets are kept impeccably clean, fostering a comfortable stay. The vibrant atmosphere is infectious, thanks to the amiable staff who eagerly share trekking tips, enhancing the adventure spirit. Plus, the breathtaking mountain views from the rooms elevate the experience. However, a minor hiccup was encountered with an unclean cup in the room, swiftly resolved by the responsive staff who promptly provided replacements. Overall, a delightful stay with exceptional service and scenery.

The best thing about this hostel is the restaurant which does the best pizzas! Unfortunately it wasn’t open on Tuesday when we stayed but we still had a lovely stay. It is only a short walk into Llanberis for other pubs and restaurants. The room was small but cosy and the bed was comfy. We appreciated tea making facilities. We received a warm welcome from the host.

More of a suggestion, breakfast was good however, it'll be good if they can include eggs for breakfast (the hostel can take prepaid breakfast charges if providing eggs). I understand why it's not included though. Thanks for the hospitality!!

Wonderful welcome, Elin and Darren were very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money, the room was warm and comfortable. The location is perfect for getting to nearby mountains and to Llanberis centre.

A chair in the room would have made it even better so you could look out at the birds and wildlife. Even a little foldable one would be great

Fabulous location, close enough to town for drinks and walking but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. Staff were wonderful, and the bar is a great spot for food and a pint. It was exceptionaly good value.
