It is a very well maintained English house and I really loved the home-like atmosphere. Unlike numerous other guesthouses I have been to I got my full privacy in this place. Ric, who is the owner of the house was really nice and helpful.

Not driving at the moment, hence made it quiet awkward for myself but the overall experience was pleasant and enjoyable

Countryside location in Oxfordshire, and very quiet with peaceful atmosphere. The sounds of birds in the morning made it worthwhile. Basically, it is a house with garden to sit and enjoy few beers while the sun is blasting.

There wasn't any breakfast on offer and due to the location, breakfast would of been greatly appreciated.

Fantastic, clean and friendly place. For longer stays (we were only there two nights) you could make more use of the facilities like the kitchen and lounge area.

So clean & peaceful. The parking is secued by gates. I was meeting friends in the village, but also the Oxford park & ride is a couple miles away, and I was given a list of things to do. Thank you.

Although advertised as a shared bathroom it would be better if a wash basin was also available in the bedroom.

Host prepared scrambled eggs for breakfast as alternative to continental breakfast. Secure parking and great garden area to sit if it had been warmer. Comfortable bed. Helpful and polite host.

Nadia and Ric were wonderful welcoming hosts, always very responsive to messages and ready to help with suggestions and directions. The room was large, clean and comfortable, and the bathroom had everything we needed. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We walked from the guest house along the riverside cycle path into Oxford which was lovely.

Unfortunately during our stay a section of the road between the accommodation and Oxford had flood damage which delayed the buses majorly. This made getting to Oxford quite difficult.

The house was very warm and comfortable. The surroundings are very quiet so we had the best sleep. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The owner (Ric) was very kind and helpful. Beautiful house, lovely rooms, very clean, felt safe, and instructions were very easy to follow. Mimi (the cat) is very gentle and sweet. She only has access to the kitchen and outside, unless you let her in to the rest of the house. Naturally, we loved her so we let her roam freely through the house (when there were no other guests around) and she even spent one of the nights with us! Honestly such a great stay and would so easily recommend and go back. For breakfast, you're a 3 minute walk from Proof Social Bakehouse (pricey but AMAZING pastries, check opening times on google maps), and 5 minutes to the bus stop to go to Abingdon or Oxford (about 15mins to get to either). Thank you!! Luis & Rick

I was a little disappointed that I didn’t actually get to use the bathtub as there was not really enough hot water. I wish I had understood the expense of parking in Oxford, before deciding to rent a car and stay out there, honestly, I think this still worked out better overall though, and I would be happy to return there. The hosts really went above and beyond.

Lovely, mellow energy, a little closer to nature. The hosts were absolutely fabulous- kind, lovely, intelligent people and they made incredible bread every morning! Private and secure, very clean. An easy drive to Oxford. An easy walk across a beautiful wldish area of the Thames, to an excellent and enjoyable pub.

Sainsburies / nearest supermarket was closed Sunday evening, location may make luggage difficult if busy and vacating the same day.

The location was brilliant for a commute into oxford city centre, room had clothes hanger, towel and hand / shower wash provided. Nice stretch of the River Thames a short walk away, the nearest pubs beer garden was quite impressive. Was in range of deliveroo delivery service.

Nadia’s house is all you need for a nice city escape immerse in the British countryside. If you’re looking for an authentic experience off-the-beaten track this your place. The room was very comfortable and the host very kind and helpful. What I like most are the bakery and the pub nearby, both very local and with excellent food range. If you’re a real outdoorsy you can an hour and half walk to Oxford along the river Thames with amazing landscape views, very relaxing.

It was very close to a main line railway and the trains were very noisy and frequent. They also ran late into the night.

A really nice guest house in a location that was within easy reach of all the amenities. Good breakfast. Excellent host. Extremely clean.
