Air con useful as room was stuffy but couldn't use at night because of the regular noise (light sleeper) so got abit sweaty. A cold bottle and a fridge wouldn't have gone a miss..

All staff put the guests first and were extremely pleasant and welcoming. Very comfortable bed, pillows and room. Breakfast was well organised, didn't queue long for a table and plenty of decent variety. Enjoyed the sauna and steam room.

Pool was good. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working and there is scope for maintenance improvements - such as missing tiles and mould above the flume bit.

Easy check in/out. Staff were so friendly especially to our little ones. Breakfast had so much choice and the cooked breakfast was prepared pretty much fresh in front of you. Rooms were really smart and clean-we needed a travel cot which was super useful Overall we were really happy with our stay, at a reasonable price.

Staff were a bit stony faced and could have been warmer. The room was on the student route back home after the pubs and clubs shut so we were woken up by that

Room was very spacious and a nice view of the castle. The Italian rugby team were there and very nicely integrated into the guests.

The bedroom. It is extraordinary that there was no mirror with the dressing table. My wife expects to be able to dry her hair in front of a mirror. That is impossible at the Hilton. I was told that none of the bedrooms had mirrors. And why was there only whole milk with the tea/coffee? Skimmed or semi skimmed is much nicer/healthier.

When we booked we were told rooms had a bath however they did not, we was then advised to use the spa facilities to find the hot tub was not working. The swimming facilities area is run down also and the changing rooms were dated and unclean. Also on check in it was so busy you could not hear staff and they did not really explain much. I feel also for the price of the room then to charge £32 for parking is wrong. The restaurant was nice but the menu is misleading also, £19 for a burger and then to be told you need to pay extra for fries is again wrong.

Leisure facilities were tired (changing rooms, swimming pool, whirlpool closed) given 1 locker key shared pass clothes over poolside. Some Noise (hear event downstairs from room daytime. People coming back 1.30am, some music sounds 1.30am) Parking was a bit high in price Unpleasant view of tall ugly building from room.

The curtains on the fifth floor corridor were all closed and it made it very gloomy, it seemed to be only that floor that had the curtains drawn, perhaps a resident vampire?

Lovely clean room, good temperature controls comfortable beds and pillows. The television in the room was a good size and had a good selection, and the food menu had good choices and after ordering room service the food lived up to expectations. I enjoyed using the pool and steam room on site and I would definitely stay again.

The room was very hot and stuffy. Temperature couldn’t be controlled under 18 degrees and couldn’t open window, so sticky night. The next morning hotel did maintenance on lifts so very busy to check out.

The pool area and in particular the women's changing rooms. Dirty floors and wall tiles. Tiles missing and rusty areas.

The room was perfect, everything you needed and I always love the pillows. The recent renovations in the communal areas as well as the restaurant, gives it a great feel.

It would have been good for an Electric socket to be close to the mirror! Could get the beverage tray out of the cupboard as the door to the cupboard didn’t fully open as it opened against the doorframe!
