Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Comfort level is what you can expect from a 4 star hotel. But no character. Breakfast area is a bit cramped. Breakfast food was ok, nothing special.
The location is good. Close to train station, walking distance to city center. The hotel itself is pretty bussy and a bit crumped! It was clean.

We booked a room with 1 double bed, but at check-in they couldn't offer such a room, but that's a small thing.
Breakfast was hearty, there was a basic assortment (eggs, bacon, sausages, bread, croissants, jam, muffins, juices) Also the location is great.

It wasn’t great value for money. I’ve paid less at a holiday inn previously and got a better room. Thats staying in a city too on a weekend. The price was far too much for one night for what we were given. The breakfast was too spaced out and having normal toasters took a long time to wait.
The property was in a great location for what we needed. It was bright, clean and a pleasant place to be.

The breakfast was not diverse enough and did not care about halal or kosher.
Its location is good in the center but in a quiet place. Ideal for sleeping and from the noise.

Wasn't enough milk and sugar in the room. Security guard at night wasn't very friendly/approachable. He was rude
Bed was very comfortable. Room was on the smaller side bit still had plenty of room to move around. Shower is amazing and very spacious. Staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was fine. Breakfast wasn't piping hot but was warm enough for us and quite a lot to choose from if you are there early enough. I would be more than happy to stay here again and I will be doing. Muhammed at reception made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

My single bed was next to a wall, I would prefer it away from the wall and I ordered a large room 14m2 and the room 808 was smaller than that I should say. No iron available. My card was not working on the return. There was a fire alarm but the staff were not aware why and people were confused, there should be a speaker announcement. The doors slam very hard so it is easy to be woken up and it was quite loud throughout the night. Even though I have emailed to request vegan breakfast, I had to wait 20 minutes for it to be cooked especially when it should be widely available in 21 century.
It was close to 02 Ritz, I like the en-suite, it was spacious and had a nice shower and tile. Food was nice and good variety but vegan sausages.

Breakfast great although luke warm at best for temperatures, good selection of choice and great coffee. Happy enough overall but price didn't reflect the overall experience, room was very dusty, lots of heavy soiling/stains in the carpets and marks on the walls. Mattress was too firm, sheets too thin, air con didn't work correctly, but good pillows. Very quiet though which I was happy about. Overall it was ok, but I would have preferred to have paid £100 for what I received, great location mind. Unfortunately I won't be likely to stay here again based on this experience.
