Noisy occupants running around late on same floor - can't be helped! Didn't feel particularly safe walking there at night - again, can't really be helped

The was industrial construction work taking place in the building opposite which meant that it was noisy from about 7.30 in the morning. This wasn't a major issue as I was there for work purposes and so I was up and about, however if I did want to lie in this would have been a problem. Quite surprised that the hotel didn't mention it either at booking or at check in.

Room was perfectly adequate for my needs. Based but everything required. Some parts looking a little tired but overall clean and tidy. Sheets were clean but obvious that they have been in the rotation for a while and perhaps need replacing.

Until June 2024 there is building work being done in the hotel, and several other constructions nearby. It didn;t bother me, but worth being aware of.

Good welcome at Reception, simple check in procedure. The room is a good size with a bench seat and chair, with a workspace and plenty of power points, so ideal if you neeed to work on a laptop etc while there. Wifi is very good, and doesn't need sign in password. Nice hot and powerful shower. The room has a hairdryer in it and a flat screen TV on the wall. Comfortable bed.

The construction noise.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable. Good location close to the station and the the city centre. Unfortunately there is construction going on at the hotel and in the surrounding area so it was very noisy from 8am until 5pm.

It was reasonably cheap and convenient for a night out in Bristol. Basic, but everything worked well.

I had a short overnight stay in between a late night flight and a train home the next morning. My flight was delayed and so I arrived after 1am but check in was quick and easy and the staff member on duty was pleasant and welcoming. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable if a little basic, but the bed was comfortable which was all that I was concerned about! The bathroom was like stepping into a caravan bathroom which was a little strange but the shower worked well. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of options and so I had a very good meal before my train home. Access to the railway station was a very simple and quick couple of minutes walk away.

Rooms were very tired. Some already being renovated but not ours. Building work opposite was intrusive. Building work at entrance was awkward.

Location difficult to find for people first using hotel very easy once you know. Can be confusing when there are two ibis hotel fairly close together. Breakfast far too expensive.

Why does the bathroom have no toilet brush? I would have loved to clean it behind me but was unable too!

90% of the staff were lovely but the lady I met on check in barely spoke to me. I had breakfast and the last day and that was absolutely fantastic.
