Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

As with all hotels in Glasgow that weekend prices were inflated prob due to Take That being at The Hydro

The area itself - I probably wouldn’t feel comfortable staying there on my own and walking along by myself to get to the hotel at night, as have to walk in a quiet area, which would be scary in the dark alone.
The thing I liked most about our stay was the room itself - the bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was amazingly quiet and peacefully through the night. We both slept very well. I wasn’t sure upon arrival, due to road works going on outside but they didn’t interfere with my stay at all, except for having to follow the pedestrianised route, which wasn’t a problem.

We didn’t have control over the temperature. Only bath towels were available, no hand towels or wash cloths. Not their fault but street in front of building is closed and it is difficult to get into and out of the facility. Walking in the area is difficult especially getting the 3-4 blocks to parking garage.

As I say the value for money was really good so there is nothing too much that I didn’t like. The noise from the outside construction work was a bit loud but that can’t be helped. The other thing was that the drains were smelling.
Really good value for money, and not far from the centre which was really handy. The room was really nice and the bed was comfortable. Facilities were great.

Didn't like the cashless system, It is quite inconvenient at times. No mini fridge in rooms, by having one in room would've just made the hotel perfect
The hotel was very relaxing and clean. Rooms were very nice and beds and pillows were very comfortable. My request for low floor was acknowledged. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast, we did not enjoy breakfast, as we got to the venue told to sit here or there then no other information regarding where food was what you do, where ur meant to go for tea and coffee, staff were very rude, I would never recommend the breakfast to anyone

The rooms are small and narrow single beds, but for the price it’s acceptable. No breakfast in property but can book next door at Novotel for a discount price.
Helpful staff and it was very clean and fresh. The price was great as I booked early. Perfect place to stay after a night out in Glasgow. Staff got us a taxi next morning quickly, only 7 minutes to wait.

Temporary problem for the hotel is the building site immediately adjacent with construction noise between 8am til 5pm. As we were staying for a single overnight stay - not a problem. Would experience intermittent noise during the day. Not the hotels fault and probably reflected in the bargain price.
Great clue for money and friendly helpful staff will use again. Comfortable bed, good central location and value for money room size.

The area around the hotel was really dingy grubby lots of overflowing rubbish bins rubbish strewn over streets not a nice place out with hotel

Good breakfast £12 if you pay the day before, £18 on the day. Small but adequate bathroom.

I heard a hum that sounded like a generator of some kind. I think it was just the temporary roadworks outside. It didn't keep me up long though!
