Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe bed (mattress and pillow) was extremely uncomfortable and I didn't sleep very well. Could have done with a mattress topper and some better/extra pillows.
Good location. Staff member who greeted me was nice, explained things, brought me up to my room in the lift.

Stayed here for 2 work trip. Arrived after 10pm and found it difficult to get into reception. Once in, no one was at reception, called the number and was told they would be down in few minutes. Waited over 20 minutes before I was checked in and able to go to the room. Rooms are student accommodation standard, basic bed and desk area. Bathroom was small but functional. My shower was leaking, once I reported, I was moved to another room. Great location with lots of food and transportation amenities close by. Room and bed was comfortable, would stay again.

United Kingdombathroom was dirty and stained flooring from previous leekages - not sure what it was, but didnt look good. Id have been depressed if I was a student paying for that room.
Bathroom was old, dirty (hairs in the sink) Linens smelt fresh -but the rooms carpets were baldy and tired, curtians hung badly so light streamed into the room from 420am sunrise.

RomaniaThe shower was a bit weird. Despite the other comments about the button, you have to push for water. What I found uncomfortable was that the shower head is fixed, and you can't control where the water falls. This accommodation is fine for a short stay
First of all the location and the security of the accommodation. Very safe for a female solo traveller, the staff was very friendly.

United KingdomShown into the wrong room, was let into someone elses room when my key didn't work by security. Room dirty, stains on carpet, walls and ceiling from leaks, Push button shower, kept trying to overflow thank god it was push button Hairs in sink, toilet dirty Wasn't told about where the communal room was. And the incessant banging of room and security doors. Bang bang bang bang bang. This isn't a suitable booking.com residence. Don't forget the mouse traps on the second floor for justification. The cost doesn't justify at all. If the rooms were painted, deep cleaned in carpets, shower fixed and a TV. Possibly.

United KingdomNo tea/coffee facilities in room. No telly.
Great location for gigs at The Lexington about two minutes walk away. Less than 10 mins walk to King’s Cross too. It’s student accom, so fairly spartan, but a big room, comfortable bed, quiet. Shared kitchen for each cluster of six rooms, but no one else seemed to use it. You get a key fob to let yourself in and out. Huge long desk in room. Lots of sockets, WiFi and ethernet.

GermanyYou get what you pay for I guess? I know it's London, but still, facilities were run down, stains on the carpet, on the walls, even mould, bed was okayish, were staying outside of the accomodation most of the time, then it's fine. Shower has a weird Durance, only a few minutes, then you have to press the button again. Also, if you don't look like tyra Banks, it's hard to move around the shower. As it is a student accomodation, there are common areas, like a kitchen, they are run down as well. Personally wouldn't stay there again, and happy I am not a student.
Good location, close to Kings Cross, close to shops, staff very helpful and nice, room size was comfortable
