Paid 249 for basic room to.be told no breakfast ,then told 19 pounds each . Went one mile to ascot high street lovely cafe great brekky for 2 for 18 quid

No air con Dyson fan provided but room was very warm and stuffy had to prop the window open with a flower pot. No hot water in the morning!!! Very disappointed with the price of the room!

room 237 - pop up waste on the basin not working and one tap loose and hard to operate quite a few cobwebs high up in the bathroom ceiling and window

dinner was excellent breakfast could have more choice for people who have t have gluten free food but was generally ok and i wasnt at all unhappy about the food.

dated decor in the room, loud and inefficient standing fan provided to combat the heat. TV didn’t work. bottled water provided but not put in the fridge…?!

It was busy with a big wedding.

The grounds are beautiful .. had fun playing giant drafts. Fresh modern room with comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful.

sofa bed too small for two people - duvet barely covered the top of the bed so with two people both were exposed and cold in the night. Food in Fork restaurant wasn’t great, the burger was expensive and not great quality. breakfast was good though

While we knew the hotel was an older estate, we didn't expect it to: 1. have a shower that needs a bit more pressure or 2. stuffy rooms due to lack of AC. We did appreciate that they provided a portable fan, but the room did get quite stuffy during the day.

Hotel grounds are quite lovely and we could see why it's popular as a wedding venue. During our stay, staff were quite attentive and personable. For a last-minute getaway, we found the price to be fair compared to other hotels with lower ratings in the area.

Restaurant was a little expensive for what you got i.e extra for side vegetables which I felt for the money should be included in the mains. Breakfast at £18.95 each is expensive and we didn’t have breakfast there as we only wanted a bowl of cereals and a drink. Also the bill was wrong on checkout and they tried to charge us over £100 more than the cost quoted and booked via Booking.com. Luckily we had all our booking.com paperwork with us but the man still had to phone his manager to check that he could reduce the bill to match the amount quoted. Was a bit embarrassing and took a while to sort out but he did apologise.

Liked the location and the lovely grounds. Room was spacious and comfortable and clean with lots of storage. A few old stains on chair and carpet but good otherwise.

I paid my bill on leaving, but got a phone call later in the day to dash they needed another £230 which had been missed off my account.

The decor was very good, the only fault I had was the water pressure of the shower.

The breakfast was very disappointing: no fresh bread or pastries, scrambled eggs very dry. No worth for money. The pillows were a let- down and the room a bit outdated
