Room was comfortable but soap etc should have been provided in the bathrooms. Tea tray should been provided automatically. I had to collect it from downstairs.

Inside was tired and untidy so initial impressions not good. Our room was small. Hospitality tray provided on request. No toiletries which was fine but a bar of soap and two plastic cups would be appreciated.

Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Food was well cooked and good value. Staff were great. Location suited our purpose. Plenty of parking. The landlords have spent a small fortune on the outside space which was very popular. We were pleased for them that this area was packed on the two nights we were there. Well done on adapting to the pandemic. No doubt more will be spent in refurbishing the inside in the future.

No availability of cereals at breakfast. No lounge area available - possibly because COVID restrictions had only just been lifted. A fan that was provided in the single room was covered in thick greasy dust.

Although our bedroom and bathroom appeared to be freshly decorated and clean , the remainder of the pub/hotel let itself down, in that it looked very tired and shabby. The glass shower screen over the bath didn’t have a seal so after a shower the bathroom floor was awash with water.

Extremely friendly staff. Very accommodating in having a residents dining room for their sole use. Comfortable bed. Excellent location for places we wanted to visit. Off road parking. Nice wine from the bar, and decent coffee too. Compliant with Covid safety regulations.

Situated in a pretty village, easy access to Brixham, a lovely National Trust property and the ferry across to Dartmouth. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the price included a very tasty full English breakfast.

Manor Inn ,I don’t normally give reviews but I feel on this occasion I’d like to share how my visit went and from day one to leaving it was exceptionally high standard service and attentiveness ,nothing was too much Trouble and the safety standards and social distance was very well enforced ,I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the manor inn when again looking to stay in Devon ,oh and the breakfast cannot be faulted whatsoever,excellent start to the day ,but many thanks again to the staff of Manor Inn

Room was a little dated but that's okay I guess. Bit strange that there was no soap in the room considering the constant need to keep hands clean these days. Can't blame Covid for everything as I get soap in the loo at a restaurant. Unfortunately it was far too expensive for our liking. We have had a lot more for a lot less in the past. Begrudged paying that amount on leaving.

Very friendly staff, great location and breakfast was great. They accommodate dogs which is what we needed. He even had is own sausage for breakfast! Lovely walks in all directions to either the country side or to the beach/harbour. Lots of places to eat once you make it down there.

Anita was extremelly helpful and we could get our key early, so that we go on and make the most of our day. Location is easy to reach, well postsigned on the road. We had parking on site. Room was clean, good amenities kettle coffee tea etc. Breakfast was excellent. Nice and easy dog walks / walks within reach. Within short distance of Dartmouth, Kingswere and many other interesting places. We are planning to return to the area in September and will most certainly book it again.
