I had to leave at 6.30am but they would not cancel my breakfast and still charged me for it even though I didn't have it! at check in they never asked me to book in my vehicle registration for the car park. so i will probably get a fine now?

Having stayed in this hotel many times over a few years now it is now looking tired and in need of refreshing and a deep clean.

In standard room, no biscuits or bottled water and the coffee was dreadful. The breakfast was mediocre. The evening meal menu was the same as the lunch menu and very limited.

Staff were excellent. Room was nice. Everything was clean. Pool and facilities were very good. The bar was quirky, had a couple of games of pool

There was a very loud humming / buzzing noise all night like some sort of generator or fan outside the window which did keep myself and my son awake . Other than that it was a good stay

Looks tired in alot of places. Rooms could do with a freshen up. Lack of staff for dinner and breakfast. Kept having to ask for stuff to be restocked. More staff needed as they were doing there best.

Location to Brands Hatch. Spa/swimming facilities. Staff were good. Room very well stocked out, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, iron, ropes etc

Food was not value for money, especially for evening meals .

Property is in a good location for the show ground . Clean and friendly staff. Loved the wall image. Beds was comfortable . Was great to see a safe in the room

Restaurant: menu limited & boring - only 5 main options, nothing exciting. No grills except burgers. Bath needs wall safety handle/ Glass screen had horrible build up at base. Window had white mould on rubber seal.

On arrival over charged. This was refunded when we informed reception Carpet in room was disgusting, heating didn’t work. Member off staff couldn’t rectify the problem. This was classed as a superior double room!!!!!

bed coverings were very thin, and there is usually a spare pillow in the wardrobe when i stay at a hotel, there was not one at the Mercure, i did not get a good nights sleep as a result. Also two single beds in the room as requested, but only one chair to sit on!

room was so cold. turned up thermostat to 21 and made no difference. room at 15 told staff member and we were told it’s because it’s an old building!!?!?! take an extra duvet!

located on brands hatch racetrack which is great. clean, neat, and with drink facilities.

Shower was poor. It was a dual overhead or wall fixed attachment. But the shower head was mounted really low down and wouldn't fix into a position whereby the water hit your body. Unfortunately we had very noisy drunken neighbours who were very loud in the games room near reception when we arrived at 11.30pm. They came to their room several hours later, shouting which was annoying after our long journey. Also the person on duty that checked us in wasn't very welcoming and didn't offer us any information such as time of breakfast.

Location was close to a wedding venue we were attending the following day. Comfortable bed. Pleasant reception and bar area with nice seating. Parking OK but spaces a little tight.
