Massive gap under the door, room was a little smelly, like wet dog, needs a good bit of decorating. Coffee stains down the draws and the bed side table draws were full of bits.

There were sliding doors to the bathroom which I founnd awkward at times, but nothing major!

During our stay we were abruptly awakened by a fire alarm at around 3 am obviously we were all extremely panicked, especially my young children. We rushed to get out of the building. We were outside for quite sometime before we knew what was happening. An employee came out to tell us that they were trying to locate where the fire may be coming from. We were then told that they couldn’t locate any issues so sent us back to our room. Within three hours the alarm went off again (6am) same thing happened all rushed out the building again. Same situation, they couldn’t find a fault. Obviously by that time we were nervous to even try and get back to sleep incase the alarm went off again. My children were very reluctant to stay for another night as they were frightened the alarm would go off again, I managed to convince them to stay for our last night, only to find the exact same thing happening early the next morning. I completely understand that unexpected things may happen that no one has any control over, but three times was quite extreme and left us all extremely tired and quite shaken up to be honest. Not something you expect on your holiday!

The location is absolutely fantastic. It’s in such a beautiful location. Just opposite the beach, absolutely stunning 😊

Found some of the food to be pricey . Also didn’t realise that if we booked direct with the hotel we would of had breakfast but through booking.com no breakfast came with the price I paid. I think if spending a few hundred pounds breakfast should come with it regardless. Breakfast to purchase was very expensive for one adult and two children .

Bedroom could have been easily make spotless - decorative pillows full of hair, shower head and plastic connecting the head to the pipe black/mouldy, lights thick with dust, windows pulled closed but handles didn’t move so couldn’t lock closed - as the room was right above the bar music/voices could be heard, may have been less if the windows could close. All really simple things that could be easily cleaned to make the room amazing. The only downside really. The staff upon check in were lovely, staff at breakfast friendly and helpful, location is perfect for a weekend stay in a gorgeous area. Overall great stay and would go back, would just request a different room away from the bar.

The location was fantastic, food/drinks great. Park outside lovely bonus for those with children. Dog friendly - rooms and bar area so could eat with the dog which was a great bonus. Guests all friendly and most staff were helpful and friendly.

Room a little small. Felt claustrophobic as windows were frosted. Only one chair in the room to sit on and no blind at the bathroom window. Pillows very hard.

Breakfast on site was good. Location opposite beach excellent. Free parking on site. Very dog friendly. Great power shower. Room was kept nice and warm at all times good sizes radiator.

Traditional hotel with ground floor pub & ample parking. right next to beach, but suitable distance away from busy town centre. Had booked a single room, but bathroom light wasn't working, so owners kindly moved me to a nicer & larger room
