Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was a lovely warm welcome and they made you feel at home. Would definitely recommend this beautiful old Manor house. In close proximity to the coast with lots of things to do.

The hosts were really lovely and made you feel very welcome and at home, the breakfast was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay and the location is excellent. Would definitely return.

This is a lovely bed and breakfast hotel. Our bed was extremely comfortable. The room was lovely - large tv with Sky. Tea and coffee making facilities plus little extras were really good. Great breakfast with large choice. We would definitely rebook if returning to the area.

It’s not something we didn’t like as the building was beautiful inside and out with lots of character about it however some of the furniture was little dated.
Very well sign posted and easy to find, lovely well kept property/gardens, located in a nice village two miles from Sandwich.

Better weather and more time to enjoy the pool/hot tub. Having to get to work before i could enjoy a real breakfast - but the packed meal more than made up for that.
The packed breakfast/lunch in lieu of breakfast because I had to leave for work beforehand was excellent. The warmth of the welcome and the attentiveness of Tracy and the Team was second to none.

Disappointed the out door tub was not open Nobody's fault at all but i was bitten alive by mosquitos so would take spray next time
Very friendly welcome, Tracey is a great host as is her husband. The building is beautiful. Little extras in the room were greatly appreciated. Spa bath was relaxing after a hard nights dancing at a wedding..reccommendations for eating out were useful, thank you. Breakfast was exceptional, the fresh strawberries were lovely

It was so easy to find and it’s so idyllic on arrival. Pulling into the manor house car park makes you feel like you’re arriving to a luxurious escape, and that’s exactly what we got.

Nothing to dislike.
Beautiful setting, hosts were very welcoming. Complimentary tea and fresh scones on arrival which was a very nice touch. Room was very clean and spacious with lots of little nice touches such as complimentary Brandy, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies. En-suite bathroom was lovely with large walk in shower and spa bath. Large 4 poster bed which was really comfortable, had a great nights sleep. Great breakfast with plenty of choice.

Beautiful house in a great location. Friendly and welcoming owners. We stayed in the self catering and our girls loved the hot tub which has a lovely view. Self catering lodge was clean and very well appointed with everything you could need. Kids also loved the trampoline and the cats! Fabulous!

Breakfast was excellent, and we were greeted on our arrival with the best home made scones and cream made by Tracy and welcome tea. The location and environment were perfect. a beautiful garden, quiet surroundings and lovely building. Our room was comfortable and had a large bathroom with lovely jacuzzi within it. All in all an excellent stay, and we could store our bikes safely in the garage over night. Very warm and friendly.
