Parking was a problem, especially as the hire company had given us a much bigger car than we wanted so, while sometimes there was some space outside the property, it wasn't big enough for anything other than a small car and almost all the rest of the village had no parking signs. Just a small point but it would be helpful to have a handrail on the stairs.

The cottage was cosy, nicely renovated, clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have the toiletries in the bathroom. The heating system warmed up quickly and efficiently. The garden was very nice though unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to use it. The owner was very helpful on the phone and would have been readily available if we had needed anything.

Cottage was extremely comfortable and clean on arrival. Was really well equipped to a high standard. Outside space was well equipped too. Very peaceful and relaxing. Welcome gifts much appreciated too.

Nothing really. I suppose if you had 2 children it would be a bit small but for us with one it was great.

Beautiful little house, felt very much like being at home, comfortable, quiet, all the required facilities like TV, washing machine, etc.

The cottage was cosy and very well equipped,it was very clean and beautifully decorated. We had an open fire every night as it reminded me of my childhood. Its in a quiet little village but not far from amenities if needed. We would definately stay there again if we are that way. Could do with a small rail to hold onto going up the stairs but that is me being picky. Overall a great cottage definately 5 stars.

it took a bit to understand the location as there are no street names in the village only house numbers and they are not always in sequence

This is a fantastic little two bedroom cottage. The facilities are great with washer and drier two toilets and a separate dining room. A lovely village location opposite the pub which is very good. We really liked it here.

I realise the cottage is aimed at families and we were a group of Grandmother, Mum and Daughter and the facilities were very good for our group. I do however feel that the amount of children’s toys in the house was excessive. I do also agree with other reviews that there were too many ornaments/fake plants - just feel sorry for the cleaner with that one! Also be aware that there is an immersion heater, we found that to our cost when two of us had to have a cold bath.

Quiet location, good parking. Really lovely little cottage, spotlessly clean, everything you could need in the kitchen. Good location for Warminster, Longleat and Bath. Lovely soft bedding. Huge bath, gorgeous shower. Pretty garden and outside area. Very comfy beds with lots of pillows and cushions. Great TV. and excellent Wifi.

The small bed had plastic sheets that were uncomfortable and warm - my partner’s father slept there. There was also no shop nearby that we could find, but it was such a small little village that we weren’t really expecting things like that.

Felt really cosy and homey, and the host left us a lovely note as well as some useful fridge items and cookies! Beautiful area, we saw a family of deer in one of the fields close by!

Can’t think of anything we didn’t like. There was no dishwasher which we are used to at home but can’t think of many rentals that have sky tv. I think the only criticism is our booking said no dogs so we had to get someone to look after ours only to get there and see dogs were allowed so that was disappointing. But the cottage was so lovely we would definitely return

The cottage had so many extras it felt like home from home. It was clear the cottage had been decorated with love and it felt like the owner just wanted her guests to enjoy her cottage.

It was perfect for our little holiday. The cottage had everything we needed. All the toys and books were great for our little girl. The extra little things like the bed guard made a great first time in a big girl bed!

beautifully decorated property, modern and comfortable. the host left sufficient information related to use of the property and a welcome gift. I travelled for business purposes however would very likely re-visit for a holiday with my family.

Only downside is that it’s difficult not to wake the house when creeping around at night due to creaky floorboards. But that’s cottage life!

Lovely cosy cottage with fireplace close to local attractions and nearby town, with outside parking. we arrived to a few welcome comforts; milk, coffee, tea, croissant and cookies! Though we visitors in winter, the garden would have been a welcome retreat at the end of the day for wine and a bbq! Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated throughout and an excellent bolt hole for a short holiday!

That we only stayed for 2 nights

The house was amazing. Every possible thing had been thought of. My little one loved all the toys, and everything that we could possibly need for him was there. It felt like you were staying in a home away from home. Maddie was amazing with all her messages to let us know what was around in the area. The pub recommendation was fantastic too. It was all perfect for what we needed

Not a fault of the cottage, I guess I was just unlucky, but had to endure a barking dog in the property next door for 6 hours on the second day of my stay.

A lovely little cottage with a fully equipped kitchen. Ideally located for my needs. I had no problem parking outside the cottage.
