Orchard House is a truly wonderful B&B. The building is classic Yorkshire stone in fact, a converted barn. The B&B has it's own entrance with facilities for wet clothing and boots (remember - we are in North Yorkshire!), a downstairs loo and a guest specific lounge. We stayed in the 'small double' - I think this term relates to having no en-suite BUT the private bathroom, some five strides across the landing is well appointed having a fabulous, over the bath shower, is larger than many an en-suite. Breakfast is more than substantial, it is excellent - fruit juice, cereal, full Yorkshire, tea/coffee, toast, marmalade etc - you will not leave feeling hungry. Mary is an excellent host. There to meet us on arrival and informative without being intrusive - brilliant. The property is located about a mile from Grassington on the road to Pateley Bridge, both must visits! If you are a walker, cyclist or a car based tourer there is so much to see in the locality.

There wasn't anything about the cottage we didn't like apart from Yorkshire being colder than Derbyshire but we just wrapped up.

When me and my husband arrived at the cottage we were greeted by the host Mary , Mary was lovely she answered all our questions, our room was number 1 and we had a great night's sleep we even had our own private bathroom across the landing which had toothbrushes, nail files and a few other things you could buy if you had forgotten yours, she also cooked a lovely breakfast and there was a lot more options if you didn't want a cooked breakfast, she kept the cottage spotless , she left touches in the hallway, which we used the to come back from the Clarendon country pub, which served nice food, we had the venison pie it was the best pie I ever tasted, but I would book if you want to get a table. We have a fantastic stay thanks to Mary we would definitely stay again.

Orchard House is a lovely B&B situated in a perfect location at the edge of Hebdon village. Mary, our host, made us feel welcome throughout our short stay and could not have been any more helpful. We started each day with an exceptional freshly cooked breakfast. The accommodation was very clean and well present throughout and is a place we intend to stay at again in the future.

B&B was lovely & comfortable. Mary was lovely to deal with. The freshly cooked breakfast was very nice. Located just 2/3 mins from restaurant/pub, which was very handy for evening meals/drinks. Food was excellent there. Very close to Grassington & a good base for driving/walking around the Dales

The property is very clean and tidy, and the room was very comfortable indeed. It is in a great location at Hebden, Grassington, with a pub nearby. Mary is an excellent hostess, and she took great care in providing us with the amenities and service we needed. The cooked breakfast was nice. We had such a great relaxing short break holiday!

We had an absolutely lovely weekend staying at Orchard Guest house. Mary Is a wonderful human who is there for anything you may need. She makes a great breakfast for the morning & you feel right at home. The location is fab- and the Clarendon hotel was so good for food!! Thanks Mary for a much needed relaxing break in the Yorkshire Dales. We will be back, Zoe & Phil x

The house is beautiful, in a beautiful area. The host took care of all the little details (even flashlights if you plan late walks). Breakfast served and prepared according to our wishes. I have a plan to come back to this place again :) Thank you :)

The cottage was lovely and clean and in a great location. My only suggestion would be to have an earlier breakfast or the facility to have a form of breakfast left out (Cereal milk) for those that would be early risers and leaving to walk the surrounding fells and dales

The local pub, The Clarendon was closed Monday and Tuesday but unfortunately this was not mentioned on their website!

Orchard House B&B and our room was very clean, warm and homely. The room was a good size with a queen sized bed and a large bathroom. Plenty of hot water and heating was on throughout our stay. We enjoyed a full English breakfast each morning, cooked and served by friendly Mary. Hebden is a pretty Yorkshire village where we enjoyed a beautiful Riverside walk to Burnsall, 4 miles round trip. We stopped at The School House tea rooms for afternoon tea and scones, what a treat! Grimwith Reservoir is close by too for another walk in beautiful surroundings.

Really enjoyed our stay at Orchard House. Host Mary was lovely and easy going with loads of useful tips on where to eat and visit nearby. Breakfast was exceptional. The room and separate bathroom was perfect for our needs. I would be happy to stay here again and recommend Orchard House whole heartedly.
