Due to its central locations, driving to the hotel was challenging as there were a number of road closure, diversions & non-car routes.

The hotel location is perfect - close to the shops, restaurants & train stations. The staff were very friendly & accomodating.

Observation rather than dislike - TV in the room was tiny by modern standards but I didn't use it during my stay anyway.

Nicely restored / maintained grand old hotel. Very large, well furnished room, huge and very comfy bed, quirky breakfast room on 4th floor. Bar and mezzanine floor lounge very inviting.

Maybe the bar area was a bit disappointing.

Reception ambience good and we were welcomed by a receptionist who seemed genuinely interested in ou reasons for travelling to Leeds

For us the bed and pillows were too soft and the room was very warm. We opened the window but there was noise most of the night from people passing by on the street talking/ shouting loudly and then from bin lorries early morning. We couldnt get the air conditioning to work but as we were only there one night it wasnt too bad.

Lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Ideally placed for railway station and town centre. The room was a good size with good facilities.

Very slow breakfast service. Timings for bringing different items out were not good. Had to ask twice for orange juice jug to be refilled (heard other guests asking also) Instructions for hot drinks not clear - we ordered coffee as "tea or coffee" was offered. Received basic filter coffee then other guests were told they could use the coffee machine for cappuccino etc, we weren't offered this?? Disappointing. Guests on table next to us left after they had waited 20 minutes for toast to then be given it overdone. You do get plenty of toast on request but barely any butter. Yes, you can ask for more but it takes so long to be brought out that the toast is cold by then. Why not just have butter out for people to help themselves to? Unsure as to why breakfast is so unorganised when everything else in the hotel is great. We will definitely return to Quebecs but will most likely go elsewhere for breakfast as both times it has not been a good experience.

Lovely hotel close to train station. Pleasant staff on check in. Executive rooms lovely and spacious with comfortable bed/bedding. Stayed here before and will definitely return. Thank you

Need to improve housekeeping before guest check in (missing hairdryer and shower gel not refilled).

Location, decor and staff service. The 2 ladies at the reception are smart, very nice and efficient. Macy is fabulous with great smiles, attentiveness and eager to help.

We arrived around 10 pm and the bar was closed. However the staff offered to call someone if we would like to order but we didn't ask.

On the second floor i could hear a minor noise leakage from the bar downstairs but it didnt affect me.

There was nothing to dislike. Shame we were only there for one night.

Both the girls on the reception were excellent from arrival to checkout. Nothing was too much both very helpful and polite. We will definitely stay again.

The only suggestion I would make is that there wasn’t enough staff to attend to the bar as quickly as we would’ve liked but as soon as we requested for somebody to attend this would be done in a prompt manner

The room we stayed in was spacious well lit and beautifully decorated. The staff were helpful friendly and very informative.

Bed was too soft and the pillows very flat. I didn’t sleep ell. But no other complaints at all.
