The restaurant on site was not open but I was not made aware before I came. Apparently it is to be closed for a few days. I did not have a car to get food, so had to order in which took a long time.

We booked to have the continental breakfast which was disappointing. Choice of items was poor and it was not good value for money. We did not realise our room would not be checked each day, and actually completely ran out of toilet tissue. Fortunately, there was someone on reception who was able to help. As the reception is not manned all day, this could have been a problem.

The hotel is very convenient for Birmingham Airport and the NEC.. On arrival, the man on reception offered to carry our suitcase upstairs, which was greatly appreciated. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was very good. After checking out, I had left something behind in the room. Staff were willing and helpful to arrange posting it back to me, which was a relief.

It just looked like it needs a makeover

The place is hold and not many people looks like coming there, but everything was clean and was a means to an end. With a bit more love that place could be busier. Outside looks like needs a makeover and tv could have streaming channels

The hotel rooms are basic in terms of style and lack character but were comfy and clean. I couldn't get the shower particularly warm.

I sat on the bed and it collapsed. I slept sunken both nights. But the bed itself was beautifully comfortable. The room was sweltering hot and the two mini windows couldn't help to cool it down. The shower is mini sized, and dropping down to pick up your shampoo needs to be done facing diagonally. Anyone size 16+ won't fit inside it.

The gentlemen on the desk was superb and very friendly with a kind face and nature. Very helpful with retuning my shower from scorching kettle hot to cooler temperatures.

Barely any toilet roll in my room. I had checked that I was ok to have a late check in when I booked then they phoned me multiple times to see where I was even though I told them every time I was checking in late.

Short taxi ride from NEC. Clean with comfy bed. Towels and shower gel provided. Brew facilities in room. Bottled water nice touch.

Continental breakfast was included with my booking however on checking in was asked if we wanted to upgrade to full English at an extra cost of which I found quite expensive for what you actually were given, tea was included but coffee was extra which I would have taken as I don't like tea

Although my husband didn't sleep well as he said the bed was hard I actually slept like a log, the room itself was a little small although it catered to our needs, bathroom small but functional , toilet needs replacing or repairing as it didn't flush well

Parking can be hit and miss as it’s first come first serve. My shower got stuck on but it was fixed immediately. For older less abled travellers beware as there are lots of stairs to take luggage up and down. I was fine but just so people know.

It was very close to the NEC which we needed and easy to find. Rooms were clean. Good towels and very friendly/helpful staff.
