There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

We loved the cleanliness, the interior of the caravan was very spacious and the decor was beautiful. The oven was easy to use and the hot tub was a great touch to admire the natural beauty of the surroundings.

The only small negative I have is that the pillows on the bed were quite flat and there was only one each, but that didn’t affect our stay at all.

The property was clean, views were amazing. Absolutely loved the donkey and the horse in the field. Perfect weekend away. Fully recommended.

We returned to Ruths Refresh, having had numerous enjoyable stays in the past. We were delighted to discover lots of new improvements to the site whilst the original quirks were maintained

Could have done with more pillows on the bed. We are used to a king size bed with 4 pillows, so bed felt small & partner could reach the bottom. It was only a small thing but I noticed the living clock was the wrong time, it probably won’t bother some people. 🙂

We liked the quiet and private location with great country views including the horse & donkey. We like that it had our own hot tub to use. Liked the large tv on the wall and the deep sofas for a cosy evening. Ruth was very welcoming.

Ruth’s refresh is a wonderful place to stay. Ruth and Dean are lovely hosts and very friendly. The place is quiet and perfect for a little getaway. It’s very clean and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble … will be staying again!! :-)

Third time staying here and it was amazing again. Everything that you need is provided but supermarkets and takeaways are about a ten minute drive away. The hot tub is so lovely and looks lovely in the nighttime with all of the lights on. Lovely animals which you can see from the hot tub. Lovely weather each time I've been! We didn't need anything whilst there but Ruth couldn't do enough! We will be staying again for sure!

There is nothing to I don't like about this place!

I have stayed in Ruths properties a number of times and I have never been disappointed. Ruth and Dean are always there to give you a warm welcome when you arrive. The cabin was immaculate as always, and Ruth had even put the heating on prior to our arrival, so it was cosy when we got in. The view is stunning and made better by the horses and donkeys 😍 There are takeways local that deliver and things to do locally but we stayed in and made full use of the hot tub and huge telly 😂 but this is easy as the kitchen is fully equipped for anything you will need we was even able to make a Sunday roast! The break was just what we needed to escape the daily grind for a few days and recharge our batteries. We will definitely be back soon

Loved every minute of our 2 night stay. The van was lovely and modern, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing, positioned perfectly so it was very private and peaceful, the views were gorgeous and if you're lucky with the weather, as we were, the sun shines down on it all afternoon, The sunset in the evening was beautiful. Ruth was really nice, friendly and helpful, talked us through the rules for the hot tub and caravan. Stick to them and you won't have any problems, that's what they are there for. Fabulous little place, only 20 minutes from Shrewsbury town centre. We will definitely return. Thank you Ruth for a wonderful stay. 😊

Ruth was so friendly! As soon as we arrived she was there waiting. The place is immaculately clean from top to bottom! There's everything there you need! We stayed for 3 nights and it was in rainy weather but it was still lovely so don't let the weather put you off!! Hot tub is a great facility to have! We had neighbours on our stay and didn't hear a peep from them at all! Neighbours are close together however the way it's all set out no one is overlooking anyone. We had lovely hills to look at and also the little donkeys and horse too! Very local to shops yet feels far away enough for it to be quite and in the countryside. It has a large smart TV and if you have your log in details you can use Netflix, Disney+, Amazon prime etc.

The place was clean and had all the items needed to help you ok your first night's stay. The 3 vans were close by to be able to walk around but far enough to have your own space and time as a couple. Host was very friendly and nothing was too much hassle.
