Breakfast was included and very good. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was great to have dinner in the hotel at a very reasonable price. Close walk to the beach and also the town centre a short walk.

The garden has lost its whole big day dream for an out door wedding the plant beds look untidy now We had our wedding outside and it was amazing A few things staff with long hair serving food not put in a ponytail isn't a good look And I'm an ex supervisor for a restaurant so I know what I mean Also long baggy sleeves not nice when serving food But I know teething problems for new owners so hopefully will improve

This place is so special to us 12 yrs ago we seen and booked our wedding And on Fri it was our 10th anniversary Yep lots have changed from staff to new owners but only a few of the staff we know and love still there or Geoff and young Jordan The new owners have kept it mostly the same Today when leaving the new owner gave us a smaller version of the mascot of the hotel. It's a bear in kilt and wee jumper with Savoy park which is so special to us I've sent loads of people there for overnights as gifts etc As food good homemade Rooms depending on what you get are all good we had room 11 on Fri and first I've been in as always the other side we usually stay in but a bride to be had honeymoon suite For a wedding it's the most amazing Scottish feeling hotel you will get and the beach is just over the green and down the lane for perfect wedding pics too Please take it back to the amazing garden it was And I know any bride looking for that wow factor will love it like I did But inside is amazing too and I'm not just saying that we had 4 places it see 12 yrs ago and never seen the other 3 as we were solid And the town centre is only 15 mins walk away And the new owners have another wee place due to open not far from Savoy park which I can't wait to try as we used it when old owners had it as we had 4 hotels booked for guests Hopefully be back down soon but life is so busy But again thank you to new owners for our wee bear as this hotel is special and old owners made us feel special too like all the guests so here's to the future of the Savoy park please don't change it too much it's a wee hidden treasure in Ayr like burns cottage

Poor air circulation and only 1 bedside table in room. Shower flow light and difficult to obtain preferred temperature. General paintwork in hotel needs work - lots of dents and dings

Only slight complaint was that the dining room was very warm from the heating being on.

Our first room faced the main Racecourse road, which we found too noisy for us, coming from a very quiet home location. Second room was excellent.

The staff listened to our requests and actioned them straight away - brilliant response. Food was excellent and our room facing the garden was lovely.

The room was tired needed updating especially the bathroom. Ours had no hot water in the bath and the shower was a hose that was only a foot over the bath so not ideal. Room only had 1 bed side table but did have a fan and plug in radiator but these made the room look messy
