Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NigeriaThe breakfast, it’s limiting not a lot of variety and they keep serving only pork and bacon and none of the other halal ones. The bed can be slightly bigger so it actually fits 2people.
The location, the amazing ambiance, the views

United KingdomI requested cakes to be put into the room on a specific date to celebrate a birthday but they were delivered a day early which was slightly annoying but not the end of the world. We also spoke to 2 separate people about the £25 credit to be issued for not using housekeeping during our 2 night stay but after checking out, the credit was not removed and my messages with the hotel have been ignored since. The money isn’t the end of the world but it is the principle and after receiving such great service during our stay, I’ve been very shocked and disappointed by the response we have received afterwards.
The hotel itself is beautiful and luxurious. All of the staff were so friendly and always happy to help. Buffet breakfast was excellent, one of the best we’ve had! Would love to stay again. We were also gifted 2 Prosecco vouchers which was a lovely surprise as we were there to celebrate.

United KingdomIt is expensive but you are paying to be on the riverfront even though most rooms won't have a view. I had missed the damage deposit in the booking details so go prepared for £100 per person. The staff were friendly and helpful with the exception perhaps of the receptionist who handled check in - information was given so fast it was hard to take in what was said.
The room was comfortable and clean. The bed had good pillows (not always the case) and it was very quiet at night. Location is the real star... central and close to the National Theatre, The Globe, Borough market etc.. I used the bus and tube at Blackfriars to travel further afield. Thoroughly enjoyed my weekend and the hotel definitely added to my overall experience. I didn't use any of the facilities so can't comment on the Spa or the bars.

Staff were really helpful, some confusion at check in about our room, but they sorted it and looked after us while we waited. Breakfast was amazing, room was spacious and comfortable and great for families. The location was really good too.

United KingdomOn my visit this time, we were given a room that had no hand soap and a broken bedside lamp. However, once I informed the Reception Desk via the Whatsapp form of communication, soap was brought up to our room and I happened to see one of the Maintenance men in the corridor and reported our broken lamp and he came to fix it straight away. I felt this time around things weren’t at their usual standards, so a little disappointed as I have never at to ask for things before but all was fixed with no hassle and service was always with a smile.
This is my go-to Hotel when visiting London as rooms are nice and clean, comfy bed and lovely staff.

United KingdomThe view from my room was of the side of an office building, there were workmen on the floor facing my room.
A spacious and comfortable room, with a large bathroom. This hotel has everything, including a cinema. The water stations on each floor were particularly useful during a heatwave. Also there are plenty of lifts, I never had to wait for one. Great location on the river, ideal for the Southbank Centre and the National Theatre.

United Arab EmiratesThe hotel lacks a business center, a pool, and kids’ activity facilities, which would be expected at a five-star hotel.
The location is excellent—just a short walk to Blackfriars and Waterloo stations, with a bus stop only 300 meters away and taxis readily available. Major tourist attractions like the Southbank, London Eye, and Big Ben are just minutes away, while Waitrose and a pharmacy are also very close. The room was very clean and comfortable, and I appreciated the daily supervision of the cleaning staff. The hotel provides a WhatsApp service for the butler, which is incredibly quick and efficient. The overall atmosphere maintains true five-star quality. Special thanks to Jairo, Shuma, Babs, Danniela, Maria, Lilliana, and Joy for their excellent service and thoughtful complimentary benefits. This was our fourth time staying at Sea Containers, and we keep coming back for the staff’s gentleness, professionalism, and the consistently high quality offered.
