Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Service was exceptional with owner going out of his way to help. Young man serving us for dinner is exceptional and could not have provided better service. Good location close to town with free parking.

The hotel is a bit outdated. Which ads to the charm of the place, but it could use some small renovations.
Diner in the hotel was good. The serving was fast and the portions were very large! As a family we had a good time in the restaurant.

No lift but stairs manageable if fit, but a challenge if any impairment to ability to climbing stairs..
Located somewhat out of town but on a bus routeto airport and town. Car 8 mins to car park at Morrisons very close to city centre. A bit dated but rooms modernised. Great showers beds spacious and comfortable. Breakfast freshly cooked and help yourself to cereal fruit coffee /tea O

The breakfast was not delicious. The reception lady was not very friendly and seemed to be lost, which has admitted. The room is very very tiny and hard to access with the luggage - you need to pass six doors to get on the second floor.
The room was very clean, it has everything required. The internet connection is stable and good. The parking area allows for all the guests to park nearby. The waiter in the breakfast area is super nice and friendly.

If you are older, there are steep steps up to the third floor.

Rooms are dated and the price we paid was a lot for what it is (during peak summer season) but otherwise no issues
Friendly staff and clean rooms - a tired hotel but provided what we needed for a safe and comfortable stay. Good cooked breakfast.

Not really a criticism but there were two flights of stairs to our room. I struggle with stairs but never thought to mention it so it was my own fault.
The staff were all very friendly and really hard working. Food was good and very filling!

Our room was at the very end of the corridor which meant everyone on the floor above passed our room to get there, a bit noisy at times.
We were welcomed at reception on arrival with a really helpful member of staff. The hotel was in a gòod location and easy to find. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was good with various juices, yoghurt, fresh fruit and cereals available as well as a fully cooked breakfast, a good start to the day.

Second time I book this property and from three years ago things have remained the same. Staff is super nice and available, food good and location perfect for those who want to stay slightly away from the chaos of the city. This time, visiting with my autistic brother, the stay was smooth as possible and the staff was super available to book a table at the restaurant and the next day at breakfast.
