Cleanliness of the room was poor, also a lot of noise throughout the whole night from outside the window

i cant complain about the accommodation , but what i will say is that i am very disappointed in booking .com as i was going to book for 3 nights from the 24th to the 27th of may but they have shot there price by over £80 , very disappointing as i am a genius level 3 customer.

Double bed was 2 single beds pushed together, this caused an uncomfortable section in the middle of the mattress which was like a hard clump. I couldn't sleep in the middle of the bed because of this.

The floors were a bit creaky, if you’re a light sleeper be wary as we could hear those above us walking about,

The location is great, close to two of the train stations and only a 20 minute walk from glasgow central, the facilities were well kept and the size of the room was way beyond expectations! The kitchenette is well equipped to cook some simple meals

The noise factor . Room above us , we think we’re having running races all afternoon . Then at 6.30am it sounded like upstairs room had heavy boots on… very noisy . We mentioned it to reception

Breakfast was ok.. I had seen pictures of a continental breakfast with ham cheese. This was not available . I appreciate breakfast is quite new facility so still working in requirements . But staff were lovely and very helpful

Bed was too firm. As a senior, hip and shoulder pressure points are a problem. Had to sleep on top of the duvet. Bathroom was a bit small for sharing. Staff was helpful but talked extremely fast. Hard place for our tour driver to pick us up as it was a busy street.

Rooms were spacious and drinks and snacks were provided. It was quiet despite being in the heart of the city. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Decor in room was slightly tired. It was difficult to close the curtains in our room, as deep-set window. There were a lot of lights to turn off - a centralised off switch by the bed would be great.

It started with the appearance outside and this continued inside . It was lovely and very comfortable room .

Could do with curtains in the living room, as the light comes right throught the blinds, there isn't a door between the living and bedroom so it does disturb sleep. There is a big bar attached to this building playing live music and people outside talking, it's what you kind of expect in a city centre, bring ear plugs and it's sorted.

Great location, Merchant city is fantastic and so close to the centre. Lots of bars, restaurants in the area. The accommodation itself was excellent, the apartment I stayed in was huge and very comfortable. Kitchenette had everything I needed for a 2 night stay, Bathroom had a powerful shower, staff very nice.

Only small complaint was lack of hand held shower attachment

Location was perfect for shopping, restaurants and proximity to Barrowlands for the concert I was attending. Room was very large, good quality toiletries in bathroom
