Coat hooks on back of doors needed for coats/ towels. A shelf for toiletries in bathroom. A few squeaky doors ( I don’t like disturbing people).

Location couldn’t have been any better - excellent 😁👍. Everybody were really helpful and friendly. Privacy was great. Clean, tidy and fresh smelling.

Just a tiny tiny bit surprised to find the tea bags were not Yorkshire (as it’s not a million miles away). Still great tea bag… but not Yorkshire tea “laughing”.

It was dark when I arrived and I didn’t know how to get in. Called the number on the door and the guy was really helpful. Stayed on the phone until I got into my room and he had left the light on for me - nice touch. I woke in the morning and opened the curtains and my view was absolutely breath taking…

I'm booked in here for a few weeks and can only say that the Host and his family are so nice and helpful...nothing is a bother and the room I'm in has everything i need .would recommend this Guest House 100 % absolutely brilliant

All fine, if I was really picky I missed not having a hairdryer but really this wasn’t an issue

This is a great spot, fab sea view. I loved the room, everything you need and really well looked sfter. I just needed a short break and this was perfect, if only the weather could be as good! Thanks so much to the host!

Right on the seafront Shops, pubs, takeaways, and restaurants are within walking distance the staff were very welcoming and kind the owner even offered his mobile phone to place an order for food. Is that being late?

Simply the best place to stay in Sunderland. The sea view from my room was very good, and I also enjoyed the good service. The staff was especially helpful in us arriving in the middle of the night, and it was also very helpfull to allow us to store our luggage for a wholde day when we were leaving with the night bus. I am staying at Balmoral again the next time I am going to sunderland

The booking was very easy, friendly efficient approach by the proprietor, cleaning staff were also very helpful. The microwave was available for use and there was coffee / tea available at all times. The view is excellent and very close there were eating facilities at reasonable price along with a couple of pubs for a drink ... all within a short walking distance. I was there for a reunion with ex Sunderland pro footballer friends and the location made the attendance very easy where I also watched a match at the Stadium of Light

This is not a dislike. We miss the breakfast that we used to get but the bungalow cafe on the corner do a great breakfast

We have stayed here many times the rooms are very spacious and clean. The owner is friendly and helpful this is why we keep coming back
