Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomDouble room was small, limited space to move around. Ok for a short stay of 1 or 2 nights where you just need a place to crash.
A honest budget hotel, at walking distance from Earl's Court tube station and the high road. Plenty of shops, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Perfect for a short stay in a well connected part of London.

United KingdomOnly on the space of the room was so tight.
It was a smooth check in. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The location was absolutely perfect! We were able to walk to all the major museums and landmarks within 10-15 minutes, which saved us so much time and money on taxis. It was right in the heart of everything, but our room was still surprisingly quiet. Couldn't have asked for a better spot to explore the city.

PhilippinesThe space was really small and the furnitures needs updating. The stairs were very narrow and it does not smell the greatest. The bathroom drain was quite poor and furnitures were also dusty.
The location was good and accessible.

AustriaUnfortunately I left the window open and other guests (?) made an afterparty on their balcony and woke me up at 4 am. Bring earplugs, then it shouldn't be a problem.
The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The location is great for visiting museums and getting around (Earl's Court Station is maybe 5-10min walk away). The staff was very friendly.

FranceThe hotel is a little shabby with scuffed paint and chipped furniture, but all clean and serviceable.
The staff were friendly and efficient and there was good communication prior to arrival. The hotel itself is a little shabby, but very clean and in a good location, less than five minutes from Earl's Court Tube. The room was small but comfortable and quiet - a real plus for me, as I'm a sensitve sleeper - with all basic amenities, and I slept very well there. The shower room was clean and modern with plenty of towels. There are lots of shops nearby, including late-night grocery stores, to get something in for breakfast - not offered at the hotel - though there was a kettle with tea and coffee supplies. I would recommend this hotel for a budget stay in a location convenient to west-central London, and I would go back again myself.

IrelandThat they don't have Lift. We stayed 4 days, at 4th flr. have to really maximize the day outside, don't try forget to buy things or stuffs really needed, unless you want to enjoy trip and flights of stairs...like you walk all day long, and you have to climb up. 😅 was a good exercise though.
I love how it is situated near to some shops, good food restaurant choices, and near the Tube station, very accessible. Rooms are very well prepared and clean. Clean towels and bedsheets in fairness. Came summer, so was really warm, even windows are open. but they prepared a fan for us, so grateful. They have a mini garden which is quiet, just like the vicinity outside. Overall, twas a nice stay. Wifi is very good. My daughter loves the room too. Cheerful and helpful staffs as well. Thanks Paramount Hotel.

IrelandHad booked a 'deluxe double room' which is incorrectly named. The room was tiny, just big enough for double bed. It was under the stairs where we could hear every step up and down. The room had a window and glass door out into a corner of the back yard so there was no view or light, and the window could not be left securely open for airflow without being open enough to be a security threat, being on the ground floor. No window in bathroom and fan did not do a good job clearing it so was always very damp. Room was not clean, very dusty, and alot of mould in bathroom. Towels and bedding were clean. Mattress was uncomfortably soft, sagging - this could be a personal preference though.
Location was great, so close to underground station (<5min walk), and a nice area. We could leave our luggage there on arrival and departure day. Room has a fridge and a fan. Fire alarm went off late one night during our stay - was from a smoker in a room and was dealt with swiftly by staff member.

United KingdomRoom was too hot. Fan helped, but still too hot. View from the window was just the court yard area but we only slept in the room.
We got email asking if all was ok after 1st day. Room was very clean but bit small. Air con was fitted but did not work. Fan was provided. 5 Min walk from underground and 10 min walk from Come Alive show. Good restaurants in the area.

GermanyThe "garden" was sparse and not well tended. The rooms were old with a few stains on the ceiling and one was smelling bad.
Location was great, close enough to a variety of restaurants and to the tube and far enough to be quiet. Staff was polite and helpful.

AustriaWiFi is only available on the ground floor, not in the rooms. Plan your visit well, because reception opening times are a bit limited. Bathroom was nice but had no ventilation.
Interesting old hotel in a lovely historical conservation area, built in the 1880ies. We had a two-story room with a comfortable upstairs bed and a cute little balcony with two chairs and a small table, a small fridge, tea/ coffee making facilities, and a bathroom under the stairs. Surprisingly quiet area for London. Short walking distance to Earl's Court station, convenience stores and some restaurants and pubs.
