The room was fabulous with a new bathroom and lots of lovely extras added to the room, toiletries, water, choices of hot drinks. Staff were brilliant 👏

The room was excellent. I just needed a bed for the night as I was visiting my sister who lives nearby and had another relative occupying her guest bedroom. There was a tray with tea, buns and instant porridge. There was no cooked breakfast as the pub is in the process of being converted to a community pub.

Just the fact that we couldn't have a cooked breakfast, but it was not a big problem for us.

Nothing we didn’t like. Small recommendation would be to look at a larger extractor fan in the bathroom or a window that can open as it gets very hot and stuffy.

Rooms were very spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast tray with a variety of goodies in the room. Accommodated us with a 3-single bed configuration which was great. The inn is located in a quaint little town in a lovely area. Would definitely recommend it.

Local TV last burnt down so for 2022/23 TV reception dodgy. When I stayed no kitchen, though going to reintroduce soon. one or two areas could do with a bit of maintenance/refresh though that is obviously a rolling programme.

Great location for Leyburn and Wendseydale. A community enterprise pub with rooms and very friendly staff and locals!

It would be great if there kitchen is operational again. The room was over the pub so some noises until 11:30-12pm, but was not too loud.

Very friendly staff, the room was comfortable for a family. There kitchen was not operational but the staff did there best to help in terms of use of kitchen to warm our picnic. Also complimentary cold breakfast and hot beverages were available in the room.

the only thing is that I would let guests know ahead of time that there is no food being served. We luckily found this out when looking up the phone number on the website so came prepared

We only stayed one night on our way through on a cycling trip but would absolutely recommend it to others. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, providing a continental breakfast in the room even though they currently serve no food. There was a large bathtub in the renovated bathroom which was amazing after a long day of riding.

The roads into the hotel were country lanes and not nice to drive at night.

Full of character, gorgeous village and extremely friendly staff. The room was so spacious, had a big TV and the breakfast tray offered was brilliant, I couldn’t recommend it here more. We’d love to come back one day.
