Really lovely room. Nicely decorated, very clean and lovely little touches included like fresh milk, biscuits and sweets. It is next to the railway but don't let that put you off, the noise is only occasional and is not louder than a road. Beds were really comfy.

    Nothing to dislike

Great location for what we needed the host was lovely, although it was close to a railway line, noise was not a problem. Comfortable, cosy, wouldn't hesitate to recommend, and will definitely book again should we be in the area. Thankyou so so much Anna

I booked The Engine Shed for a stopover on a long journey and it was absolutely perfect. It had everything I needed and it's close to the M5 so I didn't need to get up too early to carry on travelling, which meant I could have a lie-in in the very comfy bed. There's a note in the info about the railway line and yes, it's close to the line, but after the first couple of trains went past I hardly noticed them again and they certainly didn't keep me awake.

The property was cozy, clean & comfortable. Within close walking distance to the Woolpack Inn where we were attending a family “Celebration of Life”. Included car parking facilities. The owners were extremely helpful.

To be honest it is a perfect little place and caters for all your needs,

It is as the name suggests a small sized out building which has been converted into a nice and comfortable accommodation. It is private and sits on the side of the main house. Two twin beds, clean linen and a good sized bathroom, ideal if you want to stay the way we did for a day only. I was with my son and checked in very late (early hours of morning) the communication was great and it was so easy to find our way into the place, parked my car on the drive as instructed and then went in to find the above. We were given the heads up about the train track next to the accommodation but that did not make any difference. We were however surprised how loud the birds were at 2:00 am but the sleep was good and comfy. The hosts had taken into account all details, tea coffee and even biscuits in a jar. The facility offers a small fridge so if you want to put your stuff in you can. A small micro would be ideal and add to the excellence of the place ( I do understand that we all are different but then again it is a suggestion). Very convenient just off the motorway and easy to find and you can make it your base camp and easily move, it is independant so no need to check in etc every time you are backWould certainly use it when we are back in that area.

The property is close to the railway, the clues in the name really, but they stopped around midnight until 5 am and we didn’t find them too disturbing. The hosts had made a point of telling us that this was the case.

The property has everything required for a short stay. It was clean and comfortable and was ideally located for our particular reason for travelling to Weston Super Mare

Blind lets light through and blind on door could be improved - it was o.k in October but a bright sunny morning could result in a very early awakening. TV remote wasn't clean and no milk in fridge, minor things as beds, toilet and bathroom were very clean. Remember to take cutlery, plates and dishes if you think you may need them.

Location, quirkiness and driveway parking space. Trains were a pleasant bonus. Own front door and heating very efficient.
