Everything- the friendly staff, especially: we werewell looked after; the outdoor patio with the views of the mountains; a reasonable range of foods tjat were cooked well; a limited range of wines om offer but the ones available were delicious and teasonably priced; and plenty to do nearby

It was a super stay in every aspect.

A gem of a hotel/inn. Friendly, professional and courteous staff. A warm welcome from every staff member including housekeeping. The staff here are a credit to the industry. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the food is superb. A+

If I was being picky - would have liked a few more comfortable chairs to relax in during the evening but appreciate this is an Inn providing restaurant facilities for residents and visitors. Most seating was tables and chairs for dining and not lounging after a day exploring and walking.

Location was ideal. Car parking adequate. Staff welcoming and friendly- nothing too much trouble. Food was excellent. Rooms were lovely with a huge bed with clean, crisp white bedding. The bathroom facilities good - walk in shower, clean fluffy towels and hot water at all times. Tea, coffee and biscuits replenished daily.

Room 17 had a very heavy fire door which was sticking in the frame making it hard for me to open and impossible for my aunt.

I booked the room for my elderly aunt and when she found it unsuitable the staff worked hard to find an alternative even though the hotel was busy

the room was very dated and could do with refurbishing especially the bathroom which had mould around the bath and peeling paint on the ceiling and the hall leading to the room could do with repainting particularly the stairs

the location and character of the building in a beautiful setting. the food was delicious and fresh and the staff were friendly

Gorgeous surroundings great food staff were lovely and friendly especially Wendy and Dave. Room was gorgeous and patio doors opened up to patio area with mountain views. Can't wait stay again.

We arrived late and despite the kitchen being closed we were able to get some sandwiches and chips which was much needed. Breakfast was really good. My daughters are vegan and a vegetarian coeliac with a severe gluten allergy and breakfast is often an issue. This was no problem to the staff who knew exactly what to do and were very careful about the gluten so it was a really nice to be able to enjoy breakfast without worrying about it.

Limited restaurant menu - we dined for 3 consecutive nights Fillet Steak chewy, Bass Fillets were only one fillet and, while crispy on the skin side, was brown on the flesh side - probably kept under warmer too long. To be fair, this was day 3 of stay and service seemed slow compared to first two nights - they deducted this main course from bill.

I couldn't fault anything for the price it was a very good choice of hotel. Staff went above and beyond when providing a gluten free breakfast.

Breakfast choice was superb. In addition I require gluten free meals and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a gluten free breakfast every day. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and room was cleaned every day including fresh towels after two nights. Room was spacious with a very large comfortable bed and excellent shower over bath. Complimentary coffee, tea biscuits and bottled water replenished every day.
