Doors closing with a bang - needs some form of bumper. Door locks with Yale-type keys are old and tricky. Breakfast toaster is very slow and ineffective requiring two passes to actually achieve toast. Only one toaster, which can mean a long wait as inexpert users try to produce eight slices of toast!

Well located, set back in its grounds. Good parking. Dining room has magnificent high ceiling. Breakfast is OK, entirely acceptable.Dinner is very good, well presented and cooked. Staff all good.

Room service not daily had to dry the towels & make the bed. Think if I had known this I would have booked a different hotel.

The bed was uncomfortable and needed replacing, clearly worn out. The building is old and looking as though it could do with some attention both internally and externally.

Excellent location. Large room with lovely sea view, Plenty of parking (chargeable) The hotel is charming in an old fashioned way. The room was clean. The garden/grounds are large and well kept.

The breakfast was lovely. Beds are really comfortable. Really good location. The garden was amazing and the best it has ever looked. It would be really nice to have more flower beds. The gardener is a credit to your hotel, and I hope his hard work and dedication are appreciated by your company. All the guests we spoke to said how lovely the garden was. We were able to check in early, which was appreciated.

The shower was a little temperamental, it would go hot periodically (I’m not sure if this was a water pressure issue?). I was disappointed that we had to pay for the hotel parking, after paying £150 for one night in the hotel.

Good sized rooms with a coffee machine. View was lovely and room was clean. Staff were polite and the hotel was generally quiet and relaxing.

We didn't get a balcony this time which was disappointing as a returning customer, the mattress was hard which we haven't experienced before at this hotel so that was a shame and the water pressure in the shower was very poor, please look at room 202 and improve these things and then it would be perfect.

Great location, parking is great and not over priced, it's dog friendly which is a bonus for us to bring our dog away with us.

The hotel lacks TLC and much of what is needed could be fixed at a reasonable price. A good maintenance person would be top of my list. The managers are very good and very helpfull . Just a little more help would make a lot of difference.

Great food, good bar and most of the staff were approachable and friendly . The bathroom was dissapointing and lacked some basic facilities, no shaver points. a team of handymen could be used to replace somelights and the outdoor furniture was in need of replacement. Much of the wood has rotted and the umbrellas need new string to operate. . The two course meal at £21.00 was a brilliant idea.

The bedroom and bathroom were great except for a basin that was too small with a shelf that was too big.
