Street out front is loud in the am.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the pub downstairs had really good Greek food and a nice vibe.

We were on the front of the building and the traffic was too heavy and noisy to have a window open. (When closed, it was fine as there was triple glazing). The room was a little warm and unfortunately the air con wasn't working. The area seemed a little 'run down'. Few high level cobwebs - the cleaner needs a long handled duster! Shower head was a little scaled up.

Easy check-in and out. Jamie was very friendly when we arrived and showed us to our room. Well maintained, clean, and contemporary decor. Exposed beams in the high roof space. Large shower cubicle. Mini fridge in the room. Clean bedding. Good security. Free on-site parking. Convenience stores nearby. Close to several eateries and a short walk to the city centre and local attractions.

There was a bath-tub in a shared bathroom and I was looking forward to a good soak, but unfortunately there was hardly any water coming out of the hot tap so I gave up. There was a tiny portable fridge in the room but it made such a noise I didn't use it.

The accommodation is located behind a pub, the Maiden's Head, with plenty of free parking and just a few minutes walk from the train and bus stations. it was pretty basic but clean and comfortable, and good value for money. I tried the Greek food at the pub a couple of times and it was really good. I also enjoyed the regular Thursday night open mic night - something for everyone!

It is right at a main road, so when you open a window, it is quite loud.

Everyone was very friendly and we had a wonderful room. You don‘t have to walk very far to the city centre. We were able to grab a beer at the restaurant which was also very good.

The pub music went on into the night and can be loud considering it isn't right in the town centre. I would have loved to enjoy breakfast there too but the staff given us great breakfast recommendations.

Clean, accessible and easy check-in/out process. Friendly staff and lovely food at the Maidens Head too, the pub associated to the accommodation.

    Noise

Staff friendly, room was spacious and shower was good. Very noisy due to location and because the air conditioner did not work we had to open the windows for air and struggled to sleep with the street noise.

If you need to have access to rooms while one person is in the room and another is out, just let staff know and they can sort you.

Great location, short walk into town under the roundabout or over the pedestrian walkway. Amazing pub downstairs. Clean room, comfy and even quiet to sleep. Wi-Fi could be a bit stronger if anything can be done about that. We missed food in the pub, but the food truck for breakfast was a wonderful option, the staff all around could not have been nicer.

The road can be noisy during rush hour, but each room that I have used has had double glazing and that was sufficient to reduce the noise. An indoor seated breakfast area would be an advantage, but there are plenty of options nearby.

This is the 3rd time that I have stayed at The Maidens Chambers and on each occasion, the welcome has been warm, the rooms comfortable and spotless and the facilities are all that you need for an overnight stay. The hotel is located on the edge of the city centre, but that brings with it the benefits of free parking on site and all that Canterbury offers is within a very short walk.

Comfortable room with a simple check in. All the basics covered - kettle in the room and a TV. There was even a communal bath that I was able to use but didn't get round to. I wish I could have stayed longer as it was so pleasant.

It was a lovely place to stay. Beds were super comfy and the room was nice and clean. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend it for a short stay . It was only a dive minute walk into the town super brilliant location. We didn't try the food but they looked very busy so it must be good. You also have the added bonus of a burger van in the carpark for anything else you need. The room was nice and quiet considering there is a train track right behind but we didn't hear it . So 10 out of 10 from us

General facilities cleanliness was very good but the kettle was dirty and we found a plastic toothpick forgotten in the room. We imagine because the space is probably not often used and thorough cleaned. Worth having a check before guests get in.

The place was refurbished recently and the staff was helpful when we had troubles changing the dates of our stay, eventually giving us the family room even if we were just two guests.
