breakfast lovely, shower very hot, bed very comfy. Had an evening meal - high tea/ dinner menu - great choice and value. for £. Great to be able to relax with our dogs. Park (North Inch) across the road. Parking tight but great if available. Central location. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have stayed several times before.

Only thing of note is the creaky floorboards (reminded me of home!) No real problem to us but if there had been someone below it might have made me worry about disturbing them.

Unexpected stop in Perth due to weather, this hotel is right in the centre and on the river. We got the last parking space, but could have parked infront of the hotel at a cost. Overall it has a really relaxed feel (maybe the deep couches in the bar and staff attitude are main contributors to this). We ate in the restaurant, plenty of choices and staff were attentive and helpful. The room itself had everything we needed. If you like modern minimalist rooms this probably isn’t for you but it suited us and we’d definitely stay again.

Beds a bit lumpy and uncomfortable.

Hotel a little bit tired but warm and friendly staff. Breakfast was very traditional - black pudding; baked beans, bacon etc. Coffee was okayish and service was attentive. Toasters are pretty feeble.

Limited parking. Booked a Mini Suite, Lovely big bathroom. Electric shower was terrible. A real let down. Bed was brick hard and the pillows were thin.

There was no hot water in the morning and couldn't have a shower. We telephoned on arrival to ask if there were any car park spaces and we told no. We spent about an hour looking for a space then when we checked in they said there were spaces in their carpark so that wasn't good.

Very central. Loved having breakfast in the conservatory great views. Very festive and relaxing in the lounge. Breakfast was excellent with great choices.

Bedroom was disappointing.pillows required renewing as well as duvet which was narrow and smaller than actual duvet cover. Window overlooking car park and bin area, as well as pigeons roosting on very close eaves.would have thought at least the window sills would be tended to in order to avoid pigeon droppings, which were unsightly and not something you would expect !

Very loud sound from presumably old water pipes woke me up at 4am and continued on for at least 20 minutes. Room really needing refurbished. Very old tatty furniture and carpets.

I knew beforehand there wasn't a lift so had to be very careful. I didn't want to be a nuisance and ask for help with my suitcase.

I was attending a conference at the Concert Hall. I chose The Royal George Hotel because it was only a few minutes walk from the venue. I have mobility problems so being so close to the shops was important. The staff were brilliant especially the ladies who were working at the breakfast. They helped me because I got mixed up with the times.

Parts of the hotel looked dated, my bathroom looked like it needed regrouting, location of plugs either behind chest of drawers or kettle leads not long enough, so it went on the floor. Tv too small. No windows could open.

Clean and cosy, made to feel welcome and staff courteous and professional. Food was excellent, service superb. Super location and spectacular views of the Tay from the conservatory.

I wasn't keen on the fact that my room had a step up to it when I opened the room door and there was also a step up to the bathroom.

Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choice. Room was located on 1st floor as requested by me and was clean, comfortable and serviced efficiently. Beautiful location, right on the river. Bar and lounge area very nice. Staff very friendly and attentive.
