I can honestly say the property had no flaws.

The staff were very friendly as well as the property itself being unique & characterful.

The pub is excellent the room was also excellent lovely bathroom stocked with lovely products and very dog friendly. Perfect garden and the pot pie wow.

The staff were absolutely fantastic, in particular Theo was so nice to us after a stressful day. We had a lovely meal outside in the quiet countryside, it was perfect! They had loads of gluten free options and nothing was too big of an ask. Rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Even had a fan which was a huge plus for a rustic countryside stay!

The staff behind the bar were quite inexperienced and not particularly friendly. They were not rude, just hard to talk to with quick and blunt answers The room was extremely hot too, there was a small fan in the room but this was just not enough to cool us down, and the window is tiny so we couldn't open it to let any beeeze in. The room would benefit from air con.

The room was a bit too small for our needs. The bed was good but it was slightly uneven. That bothered my husband but not me.

The Royal Oak had a nice vibe! The inner yard was lovely and we felt really welcome, when we got there! Tetbury was one of my favorite towns of the Cotswolds! It was beautiful and big enough to have a good selection of pubs and restaurants. The breakfast at the pub next to the hotel was really good and there were many options to choose from!

Room a little crammed and very hot(it was 32 outside) Fan provided but struggled to sleep. Tv in room 1 a little in the way, nearly knocked it off the wall in the middle of the night.

Character and location to dog walking areas. All the staff were really friendly, the place was clean and tidy. They go above and beyond to help. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Only stopped for one night and had to leave early in the morning so didn’t really make use of the facilities. What little time we had there we found the staff really helpful and friendly. The room was clean and adequate for our needs.
