I had a delightful evening meal on my first night. Lovely staff, lovely food. The room was cosy.

Carpet in bedroom had seen better days , grubby shower , tired room and main door to the block as no lock on it allowing any one easy access .Ate at restaurant that was very quite ,so waiting for food for 25 mins and thought this is going to be nice . £18 for a mediocre burger with a tomato slice and some burger relish and chips was not really hitting the mark 5 spicy chicken nibbles at £8 as a starter .

The bathroom wasn't an en suite as stated it would when I booked. The bathroom and very cold. You couldn't have a warm shower because the power of the hot water cancelled out the cold. So it was either boiling hot or cold. It was the same with the mixer tab in the sink. The mat in the bedroom was covered in dirt and leaves. The TV was very small and the channels kept dropping in and out as the signal was great. The lighting in the room needs checking.

The pub and food were very good. The room was lovely and warm and cosy.

The bathroom was not en-suite and was very cold. The electrical stove heating in the bedroom was very powerful and warmed the room in minutes but was either on or off with no intermediate control.

Our drinks and dinner in the restaurant were very good.

Room on the cool side, shower door broken, shaving light not working. Needs a better decorate but it was comfortable and serviceable for our needs

The actual room itself needs some work - the shower door came loose as I opened it, the walls needed painting. Trying to fill the kettle from the bathroom sink was impossible - had to use the cups to add water to the kettle. The bed was comfortable and we did have a good night's sleep after a long day.

The pub itself was very nice, the restaurant area was decorated and looked very festive. Food was lovely and the staff were friendly.

First night arrived there was no heating in the rooms & no hot water for the shower, Not fixed until my 2nd night of my stay. With no discount offered on my stay , the following 2 nights were fine food very good

The glasses were dirty from the bar. We only had 1 mug in the room. There was a drainage leak which smelt bad. No breakfast options. The meals were expensive at the pub for the quality.

Good value compared to nearby accommodation. Location was good for walks and plenty of parking which is free

2-person room could do with a good vacume-cleaning under the bed (I always check to see if I did not push something underneath unawares).

We only stayed for night, one 2-person room, one 1-person room. The 1-person room was very cute, much cleaner than the 2-person room (please hoover under the bed). very kind staff, loved the biscuits in the room. For dinner we had some pizza's and they really were superdelicious!!

The staff could have been more welcoming and informative. The shower cubicle in one room was defective.

As indicated, the location suited us. It was an appealing old building. We had a small child in the party so we appreciated the playground. The food at the restaurant was good. The rooms were comfortable enough.

Room & bathroom basic & shabby... stains on carpet, flimsy curtains, bathroom paint peeling, shower-head grubby, exposed wires to heated towel rail.

Easy to collect keys, room next to pub & next door to golf club (excellent breakfast at golf club). Comfy bed, clean.

The ensuite bathroom was very poor. The seals around the shower need replacing due to mildew and there was bare electrical wires on the bathroom radiator right next to the shower- very dangerous! The light above the basin didn't work and the light pull was chipped.

The location was convenient. The room was clean. There were no hangers in the wardrobe.
