    As above. Parking was difficult

The breakfast was superb. The evening meals were good but the vegetarian options were limited. The building was interesting.

    Nothing.

Loved the location, the pub itself is really nice inside and very comfortable. Number 5 was a lovely room and the staff were all friendly. Breakfast really good and a good selection of drinks/beers.

Lovely hotel, fab staff. However, breakfast is slightly overpriced and some customers of the pub can be a loud on an eve

On Saturday evening, late night/earlier morning, there were some extremely loud and rowdy customers outside of the pub. This caused both me and my partner to not be able to get to sleep - you could hear every word they were saying. The breakfast is lovely, but it is overpriced. Other than these it’s a nice hotel.

Lovely location, friendly staff and good food.

We did not like the price we paid for our continental breakfast ie cereal , drink and toast. £36 for the two of us seemed rather expensive!

Friendly staff who were always there to help eg carrying our luggage up to our room.

My wife has a long problem and finds it difficult to climb stairs, and we were put in a top floor room.

The bed was comfortable, and the room was decorated nicely, with lovely blinds through the windows

Traditional hunting hotels in centre of Tarporley. Good food, wide choice areas to sit, drink or eat.

Quite expensive given that breakfast wasn’t included in the price. Some bottled water in the rooms would be helpful. I ended up buying a large bottle from the co-op opposite.

Super comfy large beds. Lovely pub with restaurants and cosy warm rooms in the heart of the village.

Great location for a local event. We were allocated a courtyard room with it's own access and this was perfect due to a late night return. Parking was available on site or just outside the hotel, which was an added bonus. Breakfast wasn't included with the booking but was available as a payable extra the next morning.

The room was in need of a good clean...cobwebs all over the inside of the windows and lots of ladybirds in the room, including the bathroom. The lead on the kettle wasn't long enough for the height of the table, so it had to be placed on the floor to use it.

It was welcoming and staff were friendly, The bed was clean and comfortable and there was a good selection of drinks.

The room was in the annex, close to the parking, very quiet. Bathroom was lovely and warm. We had dinner in the restaurant, good value for money, everything was piping hot as was our breakfast on both mornings.

Because we arrived at peak time just after Christmas, the car park was full. We parked in a free public car park instead just a couple of minutes walk away so wasn't an issue.

We stayed in the coach house, separate from the main building, which was really good with its own entrance, suitable for us and our dog. Lovely big room with a massive bed. Even though we were right next to the car park we weren't disturbed with any noise.

No fault of the hotel The noise church every 15 minutes would chime in the room and with the rooms being old and listed they do not have double glazing.
