the bed was a small size double which was a shame in an executive room. Some of the exterior could be refurbished but entrance was very smart as was the bar and restaurant.

Room was very clean and spacious. Modern decor and 2 armchairs -which is great ! Bathroom was very modern and clean. Breakfast was self-serve buffet and all the dishes were hot. Evening meal was very good, menu had plenty of choice.

The curtains didn't quite go right across the window (Room 41). The shower curtain was naff and stuck to you when you were showering and also let the water out so I had a puddle on the floor when I had finished. The dinner menu was expensive compared to the local eateries.

Some of the paintwork in the room was a little tired and the window was blown so we couldn't really see out but it was clean and the little Dyson Hot/Cold fan was great! The Reception/Lounge/Restaurant area was superb and has obviously been recently refurbished. Breakfast service was excellent as were all the staff we came in contact with from Reception to the Leisure Suite to the Restaurant.

Apart from location everything was fine

The weather - not the hotels fault !!!

Good location for where we wanted to travel to. Friendly staff and very grateful for being upgraded after informing the staff that because of a recent knee replacement I would be unable to climb into a bath to shower so we were given a room with walk in shower. Thank you.

Although clean, it looked tired in many places eg worn carpets. One of our rooms had misted windows so couldn't see out of it. Not very generous with tea and coffee in the room. Only instant coffee and black tea. No alternatives which for a hotel of this price was a surprise.

Dinner food was expensive - £23 for fish & chips! Towels were very small. The outside of the hotel needs a bit of upkeep / repainted etc.

Breakfast was good, nice lounge area and comfortable bed. Lovely surprise to have some sparkling wine in our room - thank you!

Excellent location with lovely views (when the tide is in!). Breakfast was a good selection of cereals, hot food, croissants etc. Dinner was great, very tasty. Not huge selection for gluten free though.

Hotel looked very worn in places. Room had a few issues. Couldn’t double lock the room door. Table in the room had side trim coming away from table. Breakfast was hit and miss. No hash browns or beans as they were being replenished

Hotel with no management Cold water in the bathroom during the day. The space linking the pool area to the hotel building was very cold and uncomfortable. and put us off..

Shabby in places, could do with changing stair carpets. It's the first restaurant I've been to where an unopened bottle of wine is just plonked on the table. Strange to have portable electric heaters in the room but they kept it warm.
