going in with an open mind due to bad reviews can’t really say anything bad. it’s old building. but staff couldn’t be anymore helpful

very welcoming and room very clean, gentleman was very helpful and the lady was lovely as I was on my own for a few hours as partner working. took time out to make sure I was ok and anything else I needed

The room was cold .i struggled with the shower. Breakfast was not included.was offered for £10 extra The bar was not open during our visit .

The location was good. İ was on the ground floor which at 72 was good. Car parking good .

The carpark was tight and an additional £100 was debited on my card which they promised to refund but hadn't until 3 weeks later when we had to call back to request a refund after checking the bank statements

Stripy bed covers reminded me of a nursing home. En-suite was clean but a bit tired looking.

no reception staff. A lovely lady who cleaned the rooms, checked us in and very accommodating. she had to ring her boss to give us some cans of soft drinks.

The room was a 'chalet' in the car park. It opened onto the car park itself and anyone talking or smoking could be heard as though they were in the room. There was no space in the room, just a double bed close to the door (which opened into the car park). There was no window in the bathroom and the room smelt slightly moldy. The reception area felt like a funeral parlour with poor decoration and a tiny desk. There was no offer or mention of breakfast.

The bathroom was clean and useable. The double bed was comfortable. There was a kettle with tea and coffee.

The following could be improved:- Quality of mattresses. Communication re halal food. Bar to be open. Decent garden chairs & umbrellas for all outside rooms.

Rooms were comfortable but cosy small. Slightly old fashioned decor but very clean & well presented. Beds-mattresses are not best quality & need changing so that springs not felt. Breakfast good value re items available however the owner does not explain that all meat is halal which affected friends' enjoyment of the breakfast due to items provided & taste. Staff member was amazing. We were provided with a sun umbrella & ice.... Essential that weekend. So helpful & thoughtful. She deserves a Gold star.

Tv in room wasn't really watchable from the bed. Had to turn 90 degrees to watch. Free view on TV could only recive a c few channels.

Was asked for a copy of photo ID and/or £100 paid deposit on checking in. The deposit was told would not be paid back untill had phoned the owner. We refused both and in the end gave a copy of my driving license - not on when we book through and intermediary.

Thought I was going to be in the main building which looked great on website but when i got there I was booked into the out building in the car park!

Thought that breakfast was included but it was not , this should be made clearer

Room was small and tired. There was no one at reception when I left in the morning so I could not get a VAT invoice.
