United StatesThis is an old Victorian property undergoing upgrade. The noise from the occupants above is pretty audible. Also if one is a light sleeper, the Bakerloo line rolling under this hotel might be an issue for you.
The staff culture is commendable. They are very accommodating and respectful. There is something about their training that upholds service oriented values. Hope that this carries on.

United KingdomHad to pay an extra £10 per night to have the air con working! Not had this before...thought it was a 'con'. Room was small - little room to unpack my case. No lift - I was on 4th floor - very narrow staircases from floor 2 to floor 4.
Staff were great. Location was ideal. Room was clean. Security safe, small fridge, TV, shower, toilet, and air con all worked well. Single bed was OK. Cheaper than other hotels.

Staff were so friendly, explained all, stowed our bags free because were early. All local amenities were pointed out and staff gave us a lot of choice of local eateries, which was perfect. Perfect positioned for visiting London and very close to Paddington. Great choice.

United StatesBeds were just OK. pillows need upgrading. No elevator with many narrow stairs to rooms. Shower enclosure is like standing on an ice rink floor, had to put hand towel down on shower floor to avoid major fall.Badly needs shower mat. Ideal as a short stop over hotel with Paddington location but rooms are very small and more than 2 suitcases causes a problem. Very noisy as you hear all other guests as they navigate the stairs to/from their rooms.
The location is excellent. A 3 minute walk to Paddington station/tube. Minutes from some excellent restaurants with a wide range of food choices.Owner and staff were very helpful and friendly.Had the option to pay small daily fee to use the air conditioning unit in our room, which was a plus.Staff carried our 3 suitcases up to and down from our room.Huge plus as it has narrow stair treads.Very clean rooms.

United StatesNot all rooms are airconditioned. It's also obviously right on top of the underground line, so be prepared for periodic noise/vibration! The rooms, and bathrooms, are on the small side but that was OK for the one night we stayed.
Location is fantastic, very close to Paddington Station and all the nearby attractions. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is no lift, but they will help you with your luggage which is great (if guilt-inducing!).

United KingdomCheck out time is quite early at 10 am. The rumbling of the underground took a bit of getting used to but did stop between midnight and 5 am. Of course being in such a cental position this is part of being in London.
Really perfectly located for the BST festival in Hyde Park and underground facilities. Lovely to have all 5 of us in one room with en suite facilities. Very helpful and informative staff. We would definitely stay again.

This is easily the best hotel at this price point near Paddington Station that I've stayed in. Mehdi and his team were fantastic - friendly and helpful. Their assistance with my luggage up and down stairs was most welcome. The room was compact, as expected, with a modern shower that had plenty of hot water. It was also good to be able to open the window for fresh air. Just around the corner from the station, the location is ideal.

Excellent customer service and the staff was tremendous. Had a room on 3rd floor. No elevator so had to navigate many steps. Staff did carry luggage to and fro to our room which was very appreciated. Room was very small but worked for 1 or 2 nights. Would not suggest the small room for a longer trip. Location was outstanding with many very good restaurants and bars in next block.
