Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Hair not cleaned out of the plug hole and no tea towels but otherwise an excellent location and great base for a family break.
Amazing location across the road from the quieter end of the beach. Lots of space. Comfy beds. Designated parking behind a locked gate.

Would’ve been nice if all the blinds worked, and cleaner windows, (inside & out) so as to enjoy the sea view/sunset, a superb view.
Huge apartment, ground floor, sleeps 3, 1 x double, 1 single, comfy beds. Single room at front of building, I took my earplugs as it’s very close to the main seafront road, which might be more noisy in height of summer! ( I am a light sleeper!) No problem with road noise in the double room, as it’s at the back of the apartment. Great shower. Kitchen set up well, including a washing machine. Terrace with table & chairs. Secure parking for one car and about a 5 min walk to a paid for car park.

The windows were dirty but there had been storms and the apartment is right on the seafront so it's probably impossible to stay on top of window cleaning
A whole apartment with our own front door right on the sea front - what's not to love? We went paddling in December and ran from the beach to the warm apartment in seconds

My dad got the bigger room🤪
Location perfect the appartment comfortable able to park outside was on the lower level for my dad kitchen equipped though bought 2 bigger mugs for my morning cuppa. Warm dry n comfortable

Facilities were limited.....only one set of crockery and one set of cutlery per guest and one of the gas hobs wasn't usable (nob broken).
Location was fantastic - as close to the seafront as you could get in an area with plenty to do within easy walking distance.

The living room has spectacular huge windows, but unfortunately they let in a lot of noise. We were there in great weather, I can imagine it’s both noisy and cold in the living room at other times
Sea- view with a safe car parking space, comfy clean bedrooms nice shower and a useable kitchen, with just enough equipment for 3 people. Great location close to nice restaurants and directly opposite the beach. Helpful welcoming staff

On the top floor with no lift, so might not suit some, but it was fine for us. Of course, top floor meant no noise from above and amazing sea views.

No spare bedding. There was one double bed and one single bed. It was myself and two kids. One of my kids wanted to sleep on the sofa, but there was no spare bedding.

Double bedroom had no mirror or dressing table, though there was one in the twin bedroom, so difficult when getting ready and trying to do hair/makeup. Lighting was dreadful in the double room, the main light had no bulb, which the lady who let us in told us about, but doesn't retract from the fact that there was only a small bedside lamp. Brown walls throughout made it look quite dull so, in my opinion, would make the place look fresher and lighter if they went for a different colour, but again that's just my opinion.
Great location, good sized living accommodation, clean, comfy beds.
