The centrality of the apartment was perfect. Well appointed and good communication before arriving. Nothing to complain about at all.

Strange smell in staircase leading to the flat and the lock was loose on the bathroom door. The owner knew about this and said it was going to be fixed.

Ideal location for travelling by train and everything within walking distance in the city. Quiet at night, but close enough to bars and restaurants.the host was very friendly, accommodating and helpful.

I don't know if owners knew there was no hot water coming from sink taps in bathroom and kitchen.

No working light in the bathroom. Therefore couldn't see in the evening or middle of night. Notified the cleaner who had already reported the issue. Also asked for a travel cot but wasn't in the property.

This apartment was exceptional. It was clean in places that normally get forgotten. It had everything you need including dishwasher. Beds were comfortable including the bed settee that I stayed on. The location meant we didn't need to use the car for the whole stay. I will definitely be returning.

It’s unfortunate that the front bedroom was opposite the pub over the road and noise was very loud for the majority of the night. I didn’t mind too much as we stayed on a Saturday night after all, other than that there is nothing I can fault for the property itself. Everything was great.

The property was in an amazing location and was perfect to use as a base for a night away in York. Great value for money and it was immaculately clean. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Not the apartments fault as it's a city but not for anyone if you don't like late night noise. Extremely noisy. Also the floorboards are very very creaky and loud. I was woken several times with doors slamming, people walking up and down stairs and just generally walking across the floors The Quiet hours are not really quiet. Our last night was unfortunately ruined by the people above, laughing, shouting and stomping around and being generally loud late at night around 12ish waking my 11 year old son up. Need more door stops/wedges as doors slam on their own. Would also help to have extra bedding for the sofa bed as not all adults are a couple that sleep in same bed. One double bed was for my adult daughter,, other 2 beds were for my 15 and 11 year olds and therefore I had sofa but no bedding available for sofa but luckily I brought my own blankets. Other than that it was a wonderful stay in York and would use again if I was on top floor so don't hear noise from above. Thank you

The only thing we didn't like was that the shower had no slip proof mat and we did find it a bit slippy.

The apartment is in a great location as was centred to everywhere we wanted to go. It was very clean and exactly what we wanted to use as a base. It was easy to access.

Great location, in the city centre, walking distance to everything. Accommodation was really good, as the apartment had everything we needed for our stay(including a dishwasher and a washing machine). Beds were very comfortable .

Being close to the centre and a busy road it was quite noisy with lots of passers by until the very early hours but didn’t really dampen the stay at all.

Fantastic location (not too far to carry shopping from the wealth of shops and market stalls) and the facilities in the property are just what are needed to make a stay as homely as possible.
