The Communal Hotel Telavi exceeded our expectations. We had a great room, beautifully decorated with w small terrace outside. The pool was nearby. The staff were very helpful. The restaurant is excellent and serves a delicious breakfast. Telavi is a small city. The neighbourhood around the hotel is like a village with many old houses. It is a short walk to the centre where there are other restaurants as well as things to see.

The room we booked - with a bath tub, was on two levels, with just the tub on the upper level. The lower level didn't have any windows and was a small room. This made the room appear clasutrophobic. Upper level had sky lights.

Very good location. Free car parking at the public square only a short walk away. parking not secure but appeared safe. Very helpful staff. Excellent restaurant attached to it. Really nice breakfast

Everything was just great! The people, the location, the breakfast and of course the room per se. I especially enjoyed drinking some really good wine accompanied by delicious khachapuri at the back yard beside the pool.

The staff at Communal Hotel Telavi were exceptionally attentive and welcoming. In particular, Anna at reception stood out for her remarkable kindness and genuine willingness to meet guests' needs, offering thoughtful advice on exploring the town. The rooms are very comfortable, with the upper floor featuring a bathtub illuminated by two roof windows. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was wonderfully quiet. Guests also have the option to dine outdoors, where there is a small, pleasant swimming pool.

A quick service in the bathroom during the day would have been appreciated as the shower in the bathtub created a bit of a wet mess. Unfortunately like in many places in Georgia there are lots of stray dogs around the hotel that disturb the sleep. Overall we had a lovely stay in this beautiful property. Thanks to all the kind employees!

Our room was really spacious and having a balcony was a huge advantage in the warm weather. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and Doli restaurant is fantastic - especially the huge breakfasts full of local produce. Also enjoyed using the pool.

Lack of light in the hallways - needed light on phone to insert room key.

We changed rooms to the suite - lovely quiet room with lots of room and light. If we’d had the original room with balcony it would have faced the street, and with the door/window open would have been noisy. The Manager, Ani, was extremely helpful and customer focused. The restaurant Doli was a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Such a beautiful boutique hotel with gorgeous details throughout. We stayed for 2 nights and had an incredible experience. The staff are simply amazing. Ani one of the loveliest people organised a full wine tour for us and was in touch regularly to check on our experience. The food at the restaurant was simply outstanding and reading a book in the cabana by the pool was a highlight after a busy day exploring.

Shower pressure was a bit weak.

This hotel is absolutely stunning! The staff are so welcoming and lovely to chat with. The bed was very comfortable and a lovely touch of a free bottle of wine in the room. The outdoor terrace looked like a nice place to relax by the pool, unfortunately I didn't have time to try it though! Look no further for a place to stay in Telavi.

The wifi here was really poor. We often couldn't get any in our room, or it would work for a couple of mins and then time out. I couldn't give the Doli restaurant 10/10. The menu is quite small and a few things weren't available (which we weren't told about until we tried to order them). Overall we still had a very nice meal, but the evening restaurant staff were less attentive than the morning team.

This was a very comfortable hotel with friendly front of house staff. Anna was lovely and helped us to arrange a visit to a local winery which was much appreciated. The rooms and pool area were gorgeous - sadly our weather didn't allow use of the pool but that can't be helped! The hotel is well located, just off the main square so it's reasonably central but fairly quiet (the parking is in the main square, which was no issue in low season but I don't know if this would be less convenient in high season?). The breakfast was lovely, and the staff at breakfast were always attentive and helpful.

The hotel was simply outstanding. We fell in love immediately. Everything was wonderful, from the staff to the décor. I’d like to especially highlight the food in the hotel restaurant. My boyfriend said it was the best he had ever eaten in Georgia. While my experience is more extensive than his, I have to agree—the food was truly top-notch. Wanna thank for such great hospitality again.

The bedroom was a bit too dark with not enough lighting

The hotel is extremely well located and the hotel manager is super nice and also let us park the car right in front of the hotel since it was raining. Very customer oriented approach.
