Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

DenmarkA lot of noise from the hallway, and the room was very basic. Dinner was alright, but we had better and cheaper elsewhere.
Nice outside area and showers were good - would be nice with soap for shower.

AustraliaThe hosts were so lovely and provided the most amazing meals. They accommodated me despite a local celebration - they asked if cancellation was possible but I couldn't answer the message due to no internet. They cleaned, cooked and prepared for me as the only guest when I arrived.

United KingdomLittle to say - I found this better than the reviews before me suggested ! Would recommend. A little tricky to find people to ask for things like drinks etc outside of mealtimes but generally a fab place
Wonderful dinner and breakfast here - plenty of it (!) and lots of nice fresh vegetables at dinner. Hosts were really pleasant and keen for us to have a nice stay and have snacks for lunch. Breakfast included Khachapuri eggs potatoes and plenty of coffee : good hiking energy! A little tricky to find people to ask for things like drinks etc outside of mealtimes but generally a fab place

United KingdomNot the fault of the property at all. There was one large group staying there at the same time as us, who were very anti social. They travelled as a large family. They were very loud in the evening when the rest of us were trying to get to sleep. Later, in the middle of the night one of the children, about 10 years old, was in the room opposite us, and whined loudly and incessantly for an hour at midnight whilst the rest of us were trying to sleep and rest for the next day. The noise pierced through the walls and there was no attempt to discipline the child from the parents and I was left having to get up to tell them to be quiet. (which didn't work for very long..) Additionally I heard the mother being very rude to the lady working there at dinner time. Having sat down for dinner , they asked for a completely different meal to be prepared as well as specialist items provided because it didn't meet some very specific dietary requirements.
Really comfortable stay with a lovely big outdoor space to lounge around after a long day hiking. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The dinner and breakfast were both delicious and super filling ! There are 2 bathrooms between everyone staying there which I thought might be a problem but one always seemed to be free any time we needed. The lady working there is adorable and very funny. She doesn't speak much English but will get the owner on the phone whenever needed so we had no problems at all.

IsraelObviously the facilities are basic, but the toilette smelled wierd and as we arrived a little late, there were no more hot showers.
The staff was very nice and the food tasty, enough for breakfast and lunch (eggs, khachapuri, bread, jam, cheese, butter, cucumber and tomato. And pasta even. Lunch is of leftovers + extras of the same. 60 gel for 2 people. We didn't have dinner, but it looked rich.

The hostess was very friendly and nice. She provided me with hot soup after walking in a heavy rain. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Very diverse. Shared bathroom was very clean. Great location as it is on the main road and good start for the last trekking day to Ushguli.

DenmarkIt did not bother me, but there were small kids in the house that could make noise at night. If you want to sit in the sun in the afternoon, you should choose a guesthouse in Khalde or Iprari because they are higher up and have sun for longer time. The price was a bit more expensive than most guesthouses eventhough you get pretty much the same.
Nice room and bed. There was a very effective heater in the room that could heat up the room before sleeping. I liked the dinner very much.

ThailandWe paid 20 GEL each for breakfast, but there’s nothing much like one slice of Kachapuri, one fried egg, shared small dish of penne, and bread with jam.
The room is good and clean with mountain view. The shared bathroom is very clean. It’s a bit more quiet and private.
