Arrived after 5pm the reception was closed. No one answered on phone left on main door. After 10 attempts they picked up the phone said to wait few minutes. I was waiting for 2 hours with little kid on that hot weather to receive keys from maintenance gay for room i didn’t booked (one bedroom) I booked 2 bedroom apartment. The room wasn’t clear sink was broken and we flooded right away the chair was broken after I sited fell down on the ground. There was electrical cable not secured. It was terrible. Next day after i argued with them they changed the room but again not 2 bedroom. Tried to reach booking costumer center for assistance. No one answered on chat. I don’t understand how this “hotel” can be on booking with pictures 7years ago. Only one person who was so helpful was the black lady at reception.

Unfortunately, our stay at "Golden Beach Potidea" was a major disappointment. The building shown in the photos on Booking does not match reality – the actual facility is very run-down, and the pool is completely non-functional and has clearly not been in use for quite some time. An even bigger issue was that my mother was accommodated in a completely different building, located not far from the one shown in the pictures. We found the reception purely by accident, as there were no signs or instructions indicating where to go. The apartment had several very dirty towels, and there were no basic kitchen items: no cutlery, cups, glasses, or plates. On several occasions, complete strangers unlocked the door from the outside and entered the apartment, then apologized and left. This kind of violation of privacy and security is absolutely unacceptable. An air conditioner was present, but the remote control was nowhere to be found, so it couldn’t be used. Although I saw somewhere in the description that breakfast might be available, it was not offered at the property. Considering all this, I cannot recommend this accommodation to anyone expecting basic living conditions and accurate information on Booking.

The location, however, is decent, and the building is relatively close to all essential amenities, which is the only positive aspect of this stay.

Poor internet (no) connection, Only Greek TV channels and the TV is mounted to high on top of a cabinet (2m), Aircon above the bed ! No water for almost 2 days. Chasing Rats in the room!!!!!! Photo available but not suitable for publishing.

I wouldnt say this is a 3 star. Advertized as double bed and you get 2 single bed pushed together, the rooms are very old and could definitely do with an upgrade. Kitchen didnt even work. I guess this is the definition of getting what you pay for, dont expect more.

Very dissapointed with the breakfast no feta cheese no olives no fried egg no mushrooms only had cheese, ham, some confiture and butter, cucumber and tomato. The water that they offered was a tap water which had a digusting smell. The hotel rooms has no hot water to shower. The pool close 3pm.

There was NO WATER at night not even in the toilet, the fridge was NOT working, the room, did NOT look as described with old rusty beds and mold in the bathroom; flying cables from the cealing and much more there were also red spots on one of the bathroom towels

The breakfast was poor(terrible quality, the dishes were dirty, the food tasted bland, orange juice was undrinkable). The rooms are extremely outdated and dirty. Half the stuff doesn't work. The shower was leaking all over the place, the rooms smell like mold, there was dust and spider web everywhere(my room even had ants on the floor). The furniture is at least 40 years old, extremely uncomfortable. I don't think the hotel has ever been renovated and they don't even do a good job at maintaining it. One of the rooms we originally got was on the ground floor but the balcony door couldn't be locked, so we had to ask for a different room. On top of all that, it's way too expensive for what it offers(2 rooms were 442 for 2 nights)

The hotel is very bad and very old and outdated. I have stayed here 5+ years ago and nothing is changed, everything is falling apart. The restaurant for breakfast had very bad smell, and the food choice and taste was poor. Overall not a pleasant experience.
