Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt wasn't an issue for us but you need to be aware the roads are narrow and windy up to and through the village. There is an alternative less windy route but watch for the turning so you don't miss it! Nikos will advise. Also there are quite a number of steps in the villa itself and down to the pool just in case you have mobility issues.
This is a lovely villa in a really special little hilltop village. The pool is a very clean and in a special setting with deckchairs. Breakfast if you want it brought in morning is something to experience. Nikos very friendly and responsive. Bedrooms very nice with Aircon. Recommend sitting in the bar in the little beautiful square for an evening beer. This bar is also a tiny mini market but definitely bring supplies up with you. A bigger Taverna with great view too just 10 mins walk. Sunsets from the terrace in the villa are wonderful.

United KingdomIt is a little bit difficult to get to, and the Google maps choose routes which are very Greek - up-hill and narrow! I recommend you contact the host so that he tells you the best way to get there.
The property is really nice, very clean and looked after. Nikos and his mother are very kind, and have gifted us with some small greek delicacies, which enhances our stay. They were very helpful when we required assistance, and made our stay in Greece very comfortable - especially for my parent who are a bit older and like peace.

South AfricaWe loved the proximity to the pool, the temperature of the water was perfect. The breakfast was incredible and very filling! We loved wandering through the village and enjoying the atmosphere and food. The roads are narrow going up if you are self-driving but manageable. If we are ever in Corfu again, I would love to come back. The vantage point to nearby beaches for a daytrip is also suitable.

United KingdomBeautiful property with a great setting and incredible views in the lovely village of Sokraki. The property is thoughtfully and tastefully furnished and very comfortable. The breakfast (12 euros extra) was absolutely delicious and amazing value! The pool is lovely. The Taverna in the village is brilliant and was the best meal of my trip. A lovely welcome from the hosts and made to feel right at home.

United Arab EmiratesWe loved it.
My wife’s impression was overwhelming: “Stepping into this place feels like slipping into another, more magical dimension. Think mountain views that take your breath away, air so fresh it feels like a hug, and romantic touches in every corner. The charm? Greek textiles woven into the curtains and frames—little details that make the studio one of a kind. And as if that’s not enough, you’ll find homemade limoncello, jam, and olive oil—little treasures waiting just for you. Oh, and if a refreshing dip calls your name, there’s a beautiful pool ready and waiting.”

United KingdomWe loved the villa, the view, the pool and the hosts. Sokraki is the most beautiful village with lovely cafes and a taverna. We were even made delicious apple and custard pastries for breakfast. We loved staying here so much. The hosts were so friendly and so helpful. Make sure you ask them about the best road up the mountain before arriving as there is one road that is much easier than the others. Can’t wait to go back again one day.

United KingdomThe road that the GPS took us to get to the property was a little hairy, a lot of hairpin bends. But the owner showed us a different route that was much better.
This was a beautiful property in a beautiful location. We were looking for peace and quiet and this was perfect. We had everything that we needed and everywhere was clean and well organised. We were well away from all the tourist traps in a lovely Greek village with one taverna, two cafes and an olive oil museum. The owner was extremely welcoming. The pool was a highlight!

SpainI would make clearer the size of the apartments in the web. We expected more rooms in our apartment because of the photos available in Booking. It is true that Booking correctly says that you are booking just 2 bedrooms, but the photos may suggest otherwise.
Amazing views, clean apartment with a wonderful swimming pool. It is located in a quiet familiar village that, however, has some great places to have dinner (the Taverna) and some cafes to have breakfast. The hosts were available and very nice with us, they even gifted us with a homemade cream cake to have breakfast. Definetely would come again.

United KingdomStunning location, with amazing views. Very clean, comfortable, spacious well equipped 2 bedroomed villa. Very large terrace area with various seating options including hammock, which was perfect for enjoying the dark clear sky. Beautiful pool, a lot bigger than expected. 3 lovely cafe bars and a taverna in the village, all of which were fantastic with extremely friendly and welcoming owners/staff. Great hospitality, especially the fantastic pastry that arrived warm from the oven for breakfast one morning (large enough for 2 breakfasts and absolutely gorgeous)

PolandDuring our stay at the apartment in Corfu, everything met our expectations except for the weather, which was slightly disappointing. We anticipated somewhat warmer temperatures in early May. Although the sun shone almost all the time, there was only half a day of rain. Nevertheless, the weather turned out to be perfect for sightseeing, which we took full advantage of by exploring the entire island.
The apartment located in the mountainous heart of Corfu island is an ideal spot for lovers of Greek hospitality. The hostess treated us to a delicious sandy cake and a liqueur made from local fruits. Her son, Nikos, was always courteous and helpful, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. Additionally, the apartment's location serves as an excellent base for car trips, allowing for the exploration of every corner of the island. It's a perfect place for anyone who wants to combine relaxation with active exploration of Corfu.

SpainDefinitely the best place to stay in Corfu if you are a large group. The house was very spacious, clean, the wifi worked very well, the views were amazing and the pool was spectacular. You need to bring a car to get there and the road is quite long, but they have a parking space and it was very safe for rental cars. The landlord was very nice, attentive and helpful in any situation. We would definitely choose this accommodation again.

AustraliaOur own issue, we rented an SUV since we were travelling with 5 adults and luggage. I'd recommend 2 cars in the future, as the narrow and winding roads make a somewhat difficult drive
great location, the tiny town is full of super friendly people, delicious food and open vistas all around. The host and his family were great and the villas/property is beautifully done and only half hour / 45 minutes to some amazing beaches

LithuaniaSokraki village is great place to experience local atmosphere, but I would not use it as a base to explore the island - several rouds leading to village take time to drive. For 2-3 days or if you plan to rest a lot near the pool - then it’s great.
Nikos, thank you for hospitality and all nice surprizes! Owners are great - caring though not intrusive. We liked a lot the terrace, views, swimming pool. Sokraki village is great place to feel the local atmosphere. We ate at village taverna 3 evenings and kids named it as 2nd best place after Corfu aquapark - so it really counts :-) I enjoyed seeing old embroydered covers, authentic villa furniture.
