Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelThe only thing that bothered us was the bad acoustics, we heard the neighboring rooms and every one who passed in the corridor. The dining room was very noisy and it was unpleasant.
Excellent location, just few minutes from the center, with spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. Simple room, but very convinient, comfy beds, spacious and clean. Good breakfast.

CanadaIt’s a very cool hotel, feels like it’s from the ‘50’s. the common areas and lounge are very comfortable with excellent service and the swimming pool is magnificent with incredible mountain views. The buffet dinner room was packed with tour bus people so it was quite busy and loud, I’m sure in September this is a staple for their business and we didn’t mind so we went out and ate at one of the beautiful patio restaurants nearby. The town is really cute and the ruins of Delphi are mind blowing in their mountain setting. One of the highlights of our month long trip in Greece.

NetherlandsThe hotel is really big and around the afternoon a lot of bus-loads of (other tourists) are dropped. That’s makes it a very crowded place after 5pm and over breakfast - but, then again, a quiet place after the busses have departed.
More like an 8.5, but Booking makes you choose… The facility is a bit older, which you can see back in the rooms, but the location makes up for a lot!! The place is also pretty spacious. Price/quality is very good. Beds were comfy. Decent breakfast and friendly staff.

IsraelThere was no refrigerator in the rooms.
We liked the location with its spectacular view and the hotel's proximity to restaurants within walking distance. Additionally, the staff were very nice and allowed us to keep one of the rooms until noon.

United StatesIt is a hotel used by travel groups so dinner and breakfast were both buffet. It is a bit out of the town area but within walking distance.
The views from our room were amazing and we were greeted with a beautiful plate of baklava.

GermanyAmalia is a hotel chain in Greece. The hotel in Delphi was certainly once one of the flagships. But that was forty or fifty years ago. Nevertheless, everything is very well maintained. The architecture is spacious and there is a huge, very cold pool. But you can't overlook the fact that the hotel urgently needs a thorough renovation. The staff were friendly. The breakfast corresponds to the quality of the hotel, which is mainly used by coaches from 5 pm. The buses also leave again between 7 and 8, which is when it gets noisy in the corridors. You can walk to the ancient part or drive a few minutes by car and park there free of charge.

United StatesOur room was very nice - both a lovely view from a fairly large balcony—- so good! The rooms are not large but they are large enough! The outside wood trim on large and beautiful balcony doors needs a bit of attention. There’s really nothing to fault. Just beautiful!
An elegant modern yet inviting hotel with beautiful common areas, a sparkling pool with comfortable lounging options, gardens, easy parking, a delicious breakfast with wait staff serving coffee and every option you can imagine for breakfast choices. The bathroom was large and very well maintained.

AustraliaNothing really.
The location was great, beautifully placed in the mountains with a nice pool that was cool. The room was reasonably sized. Very close to the archeological museum and sites. I wish we stayed another night to really enjoy it. It was our last few days in Greece and we split it up between Delphi and last night in Athens
